The Hopmaster General hosted my dad's birthday party and did a fantastic job. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Everyone had a great time.
Friendly staff, lively atmosphere. Generally a calming and happy place to hang out. Craft beers on tap are wonderful, changing their choices frequently. Always happy to let you try before you buy so you get the right beer. A real attention to customer satisfaction!
Great pub with a big selection beers, great atmosphere & friendly staff. Worth going when they have live entertainment as it generally pretty good.
Huge choice of lager/cider. Great menu. The wings were amazing. Knowledgable bar staff and two pool tables! Will certainly be back

A great place to come and try what's available in the world of beer. An excellent range if craft beers bottled, canned or on draught. The selection on offer is well thought out, offering a range across the varieties. From Spurs to DIPAs to shouts and everything in between. There are spirits and cocktails on offer for those not keen on beer, and nibbles are available for the peckish. The decor is clean and welcoming. With nice little touches with the lighting etc. Would highly recommend for the knowledgeable friendly staff, and the amazing range to go at. Worth several visits to make your way through them all.
Several keg beers on tap (not really my thing). Only one cask ale on offer out of a maximum 3 - one not ready and one finished. Interior nicely done and a good atmosphere (even though there were just 3 in). Would be even better when more punters are in, which I'm sure there will be later in the day.

Really liked this place. Sceptical cos it was in Rushden town centre but was very impressed. Great relaxed atmosphere inside, 6 or so real ales, well kept plus lots of ciders and gin. Pork pies and scotch eggs to. I look forward to going back.
