   Myself and my family visited the cafe yesterday. The concept is great but the experience was poor. Its absolutely freezing in the cafe so much so we had to leave are coats on making it an uncomfortable visit. The food was absolutely awful, nothing freshly cooked. The chicken that was added to the pizza was obviously off. The condiments were out of date, the chips were under cooked. Understandably the toilets were outside, not a problem but what was a problem was that the sink and toilet itself looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. I enjoyed the games side of it but that's all. Not a great experience at all.

   We visited recently as a family outing for my birthday. The board game element was enjoyable and the main reason we chose to return. We’d visited previously under the former owners and had a much better experience, which is why this visit was disappointing. The food offering felt very basic and largely pre-prepared. The pizzas appeared to be microwaved deep-pan pizzas rather than freshly made, and one had chicken that wasn’t edible. The cakes also appeared shop-bought rather than homemade. It was also quite cold inside during our visit and we ended up keeping our coats on. I did ask whether the heating could be turned up, but it remained chilly. The outside toilets are understandable given the location, but they were cold and not as clean as expected. Overall, the concept is good and the gaming side works well, but the food quality, warmth, and facilities let the experience down compared to previous visits. With some improvements in these areas, it could be a much more welcoming place again.

   Cute little cafe, secluded and nice. Free parking right out front! Many cakes and drinks available for purchase. Plenty of boardgames ranging from light family games to heavy euro games. Tables are large enough for large games and drinks! Come here for a relaxing time!

   Absolutely obsessed with Ready Steady Roll! A seriously unique place for a date or a family trip out. The food and coffee is always on point and I've never known them not to have a game I've asked for! The staff are always there to support and guide you through the trickier games and the indoor and outdoor seating is always cosy. Will be back again soon! P.s I'd recommend Battle Sheep!

   Really nice little cafe where you can relax and play board games from an absolutely massive collection. Home made food is delicious and the service is quick and efficient. Staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, it’s easy to learn any board game even if you have never heard of it. The perfect way to spend a good few hours with friends or family.

   Could not find a boardgames cafes anywhere near where me and my girlfriend were staying unless we went down to London. Decided to hell with it lets drive 45 min to go check out Ready Steady Roll which seemed like it was located in a very odd spot (we're more used to boardgames cafes in cities). This little quirky cafe was simply relaxing to be in. Ended up spending the entire session playing Hive for the first time and without releasing we were out of time. Staff are friendly, knowledgable and supportive. I would definitely go again

   What a wonderful find, our house is full of gadgets and wonder but I was nice just to sit back chat, eat cake and play a game. There was around 10 tables and 100 games to choose from and a very friendly games master to help you along your way. Cakes looked home made, staff where friendly, coffee was good, service was quick, definitely a good idea to book at the weekends, very clean, free parking, outside seating, fresh air, toilets, would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.
