“After not going into this pub for many years, since it has been taken over and revamped and an awesome food menu, I've been twice in a month! This has become a real comfortable, friendly, cosy pub, does amazing food and has weekly events.... also offer food delivery..... dont lose what could become a real gem in this town.... use it so we dont lose it!”

“To be completely honest. We found this gem of a pub by pure accident and I am so glad we did. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The food is reasonably priced and also very good quality. I had the fish and chips and the burger and they were both very good sized portions. I will definitely be returning to this pub. The interior was very well maintained. If It was possible to give six stars, i would.”

“Great local chippy, serving an extra portion of care! Stopped here on Friday evening, as we had visitors from abroad who wanted the fish and chip experience and we needed a gluten free option. Deb’s fish bar did not disappoint! Gluten free cod and haddock tasted almost exactly the same as the regular gluten ones. When ordering and needing a little extra advice and help service went above and beyond, even though it was during the Friday evening rush. Also saved us money as we would have massively over ordered. Portions were enormous. Personally, I preferred the cod over the haddock as the haddock still had the skin on, but that is 100% personal preference.”

“Great birthday party for my 5 year old son today. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely lunch boxes for the children. They additional helped my autistic son who is a picky eater. Won’t hesitate to book again.”

“A great little park. There's a concrete path all the way around.. There are dog waste bins. Dogs can roam off lead, and quite often do. There are several courts. There's also a small bike track.. At the back you have a children's play area with climbing frames for younger children. A very popular park that also holds the fair when it arrives. No toilets or cafe, however it's opposite asda that does have these. This is not a park that should be visited at night.”

“Absolutely delicious food, with lots of choice, we all went for the roast, many side dishes included which you pay extra for anywhere else. The service by Callum, Amanda and another young lady was spot on, nothing was too much trouble. All in all, great venue, delicious food and great service, I’m proud to call you my local!!”

“My 8 year old daughter wanted to come here after previously having a coconut drink from a pop up stand. She went for the tropical drink,the gentleman was very helpful, as soon as she tried this drink she said "Wow! I give this a 10/10,best drink ever" she was very impressed and can't wait to come back. “We had my mother in laws wake there it was a very nice buffet drinks at reasonable prices. Please support this local business they are fighting for their existence. Bring your clubs, wakes, parties and attend their events they are working hard for us”

“We visited for the European semi finals and the atmosphere was great. The staff were keeping up with our demands for beer ( there were 2 tables of 6 !!) and kept us all refreshed. The doormen were really friendly too which was a bonus and social distancing was observed so it felt really safe in there. A huge selection of drinks to choose from so something for everyone. We shall definitely be going back.”

“Visiting the area with family, it was a REALLY busy Sunday!! Our waitress Bernie was really efficient and made us feel very welcome. Ordering and service was smooth and seamless, atmosphere in restaurant was nice, its light and nicely decorated with plenty of space between tables, even when super busy we could still hear each other when talking. Food: we ordered Pizzas and Cannelloni with a side salad. Everything came nicely cooked and well presented, I love when you get food exactly as described on the menu. I definitely recommend Pixxa Express if you are shopping at Rushden Lake. Prices are on the higher side but is matched with quality.”

For just £10 per person, I wasn't expecting much, but the night exceeded all expectations. ​The Highlights ​The Food: The price included a full 3-course meal. The portions were generous, and the quality was surprisingly good considering the ticket price. ​The Entertainment: After dinner, there was a disco that kept the energy high all night. The music selection was great and perfect for seeing in the New Year. ​Value: Brilliant. In an era where many venues charge triple digits for New Year's Eve, getting a meal and a full night of entertainment for £10 is unheard of. ​Final Verdict ​If you’re looking for a night that offers a fantastic atmosphere without the "holiday markup," this is it. Brilliant value for money and a great way to start the year!”

“A great pub. When I went it was covid secure and taken very seriously by staff. It was my first public house visit since feb and the staff kindly explained the rules. I Felt very safe. The cask ale was perfect. 5 stars.”

“Basic room, but clean and sufficient to lay your head. Linda and staff made us feel like locals! Very welcoming and super customer service, room wasn’t ready so she gave us a discount voluntarily!which was so lovely , busy pub full of well behaved young people having fun…… but by midnight not a sound . “We eat here quite often because it fits our family budget. Tonight, Sunday 17th August, we met at 6pm and both food and service were extra special. The service from Eleanor was brilliant and it was a pleasure to watch her serving everyone very efficiently and with a cheerful smile. We didn’t get the chef’s name but thanked him personally as everyone’s food was really well prepared. Thank you.”

The store is always clean, the staff always great you with a smile and the time to get your prescription never takes longer than 5 minutes. Highly, highly recommend this pharmacy. They also sell health and beauty products alongside a range of over the counter medicines.”
