   Wonderful place, great atmosphere especially when bands are playing which is most Saturdays. Feel so safe and welcome every time I go in. Hadn't been in for a few weeks and Joe was concerned as he hadn't seen me. Id been in hospital and everyone was so loving and concerned about me. You don't get that very often in a pub. Members only club but they allow non members in for music nights on Saturdays. Though it's only £4 for a year's membership.

   Great bar with staff to match, bands pretty much every Saturday with free entry. Always clean, with no trouble, definitely worth a visit. Doesn't serve food so I don't know where some of the reviewers went, but it wasn't here!

   The owner of this establishment is honestly the worst I’ve ever come across, rude and disrespectful behaviour, I decided to pop in here on my lunch break for a bite to eat and drink and to use the toilet and in return I got called abusive names and was shouted at just for using the toilet, never would I of expected this behaviour in such a public setting, avoid at all costs! Best believe I took my money elsewhere.

   Not very welcoming at all !! Called in to have one drink in the garden to be told after ordering drinks and Covid check in and temperature checked that premises was no longer a pub but a club and would have to join or pay £2 each extra for one drink. (Went in 2 weeks ago and was fine). No signs displayed and not allowed one drink as unaware of new rules. Will not bother again….

   Played in the band on Saturday night. Great pub for a huge variety of live music every Saturday and also has huge TV screens for watching the football. Exceptionally friendly staff and locals and beer decent price £3.10 for carling. Big covered outdoor area for decent weather or having a smoke. Looking forward to my next visit.
