   Arrived for a table that had been booked for 5.30 to be told that bookings had been moved downstairs,nit wanting to be in the hustle & bustle if the bar we asked if we could still be accommodated upstairs to which the lovely manager agreed not sure if her name was Molly or Ashe that’s the names on our feedback card but whichever one were you was fantastic and sent above and beyond to make our meal and drinks everything and more so thank you and we will return as nothing was too much for you to do for us ..lovely evening fab food and brilliant table service ♥️

   Having had some lovely meals at The Parkhouse in the past, we decided to book a table for our Xmas meet up. Five school friends in our 50's. We weren't acknowledged on entry, even though the email said we would be. When we asked the waiter if we could order some drinks, we were told that he had a million and one things to do so we should order at the bar. We were served our food, which was absolutely delicious. We were not offered any coffees, or more drinks after the meal. We were very much up for coffees, but were feeling like we were just an inconvenience by this point. So we got the waiters attention to get the bill. We were told to go to the bar for it. The girl behind the bar printed it out and handed it over. We then tried to pay but the bill didn't include removing the deposit that we had already paid. The girl did not know what to do so the male came and helped. You would think that the unhelpfulness was because they were rushed off their feet, but there was four people behind the bar and about the same number of tables to attend to. The staff were just chatting behind the bar, not being helpful or friendly. So, for the first time ever, we, as a group, decided we would not leave a tip. There was zero service to tip for. We left, saying to each other that we would not be returning again. They couldn't even light the Xmas candle on the table, which would have been a nice touch. Zero atmosphere, zero service, but the food was nice.

   Been here a few times now but very disappointed tonight. First time taking my baby, I had forgotten to pack my thermos in my bag as you know if you have a baby it’s stressful to leave the house at times. Manager refused hot water to feed my baby his bottle. I understand health and safety, however if I was to order a pot of tea the temperature would be exactly the same? So why refuse my baby hot water? We had to leave early for a friends birthday celebration with no pudding as I had to rush home to ensure my baby was fed. The food however was lovely and I enjoyed very much. Our waitress serving us was lovely, didn’t catch her name. Just disappointed in the lack of care towards my baby from the manager. Also, with a pram I would like to point out it’s not accessible that I could see anyway. All steps to access.

   Stopped off in Kettering on our drive back to Norwich from Birmingham. We just wanted a quick, affordable bite to eat before the rest of the journey home. Great food for the price and a friendly service. Thank you!

   Went for dinner tonight had the mega mixed grill. It was brilliant. A young man brought our meals out. I believe he was new but was very aware of checking back to see if everything was OK with our meals and drinks. Even offering a steak knife. I could see the other staff maintaining a clean and efficient business. Tables cleaned minutes after people left. The food was brilliant we was both happy

   I wouldn't bother save your money and Go to a fast food restaurant. You get more and it tastes better. Also you won't get your food served in what looks like a potty. Also the lasagne tasted like a Lidl's or Aldi's own. So you might as well Pop across the road and buy one for quarter of the price.

   Nice neighborhood pub with singles, couples and families and friendly staff. Enjoyed the appetizers (sweet BBQ chicken wings and Brie dippers) and steak and ale pie. Along with cider.

   My partner and I visited last week and had such a great time! Servers Carla and Carrie were super friendly and attentive. There was a misunderstanding with my food and it was quickly rectified. Food was hot, tasty and well presented. No complaints and will come back. Thank you!
