   The food was okay as the was only one kitchen staff but atmosphere wasn’t great weren’t really clean the mugs were dirty asked for new ones got given no ice in my Pepsi max cherry or a lime. Staff were miserable didn’t smile. Went to get hot chocolate it wasn’t refillable but says on menu it was but I spoke to someone at bar they said that hot chocolates not refillable. But any other Wetherspoons I been to they was.

   I know this is a wetherspoons... But the food was utterly awful... I watched it sit under a hot lamp for 12mins contemplating collecting myself - when it eventually was brought over it was dire. I'm sure the ingredients were fresh and would have tasted nice at somepoint, it's unfortunate this didn't coincide with my order and it's delivery. This place is fine for a glass of red wine at 9am on a Saturday - but wouldn't eat here again.

   We eat here quite often because it fits our family budget. Tonight, Sunday 17th August, we met at 6pm and both food and service were extra special. The service from Eleanor was brilliant and it was a pleasure to watch her serving everyone very efficiently and with a cheerful smile. We didn’t get the chef’s name but thanked him personally as everyone’s food was really well prepared. Thank you.

   The breakfasts are good value HOWEVER the grilled tomatoes are always raw (even after sending back to be cooked more) same with the mushrooms, out of two drinks machines at least one either isn't working or has run out of something, latest was one was not working and the other putting out dirty looking water that was meant to be coffee, staff informed and response was "we know it's broken" shame as it appears the staff have changed and the care has gone from this place, perhaps the area manager should pay a suprise visit!! July 2025 nothings changed still raw and cold tomatoes being served!!

   I ordered a Sirloin steak. A joke please see pictures. One Mushroom. Peas like marbles. And that is most definitely not a Sirloin steak. Still waiting for someone to ask if my meal was ok.

   Our local pub. As far as wetherspoons go, it's a nice pub. Service is great and staff always happy. Great for young kids and adults too, with plenty of food and drink choice. On the odd occasion where something is missing from our order, the staff are happy to quickly retrieve the missing item.

   I recently visited this Wetherspoon pub and was impressed by the overall experience.    Haven’t been here for over a year and this was a first lunchtime meal we have had,we both had a classic burger and I can honestly say they were the worst ones we have ever had anywhere.The meat patties were black cooked to death,hard,the cheese felt like it had come out of a freezer,not the soft melted cheese you see in the pictures,and the bacon was cold and rigid.The only thing it tasted of was the large slices of dil pickle,just unpleasant we both left most of it.I normally only write reviews to praise the restaurant,and if the food is so so I accept it,but this was really awful,oh the chips were ok but can you mess up chips. Figos burgers next door are a 100% better.Won’t ever return there.staff friendly though.

   Had a family Christmas party of around 25 of us. Plenty of room. Tables set out nicely. However, although food pre-booked most of which came out luke warm. Veg on the have d side. Staff were very polite. Would probably try again just the 2 of us but not for a big party

   Food was nice, first time visiting. Lovely lady serving the food , and a young guy named Ashton working in the kitchen was lovely. I gave it 3 stars because as you walk into the main bar entrance, the smell of dirty armpits , and beer is enough to make you sick and that's before you even eat. If it wasn't for my husband saying let's just go through here first , then I think I would of walked back out. It was really strong .
