Lovely food. Just spent a bit more than we intended to

I recently had the opportunity to try jalebi and gulab jamun from your shop. While I found the gulab jamun to be quite enjoyable, I was unfortunately disappointed with jalebi. The flavor didn't have the crispness and freshness I was hoping for which made it hard to enjoy and I had to throw it away. This was my first visit to your shop, and while the experience with the jalebi wasn't as expected, I do hope this feedback helps in improving the quality.

Don't understand the bad reviews. We have used Puja many times, including an event recently where they provided breakfast, lunch and dinner for our 140 guests. Without fail all complimented the food. Rakeshbhai looked after everything very well.

We hired Poojas to cater for a surprise party. They were easy to contact and straightforward to organise with. Friendly too and nothing was a problem. We needed nut free which was not a problem. They delivered food on time and it was still hot. The food was delicious and full of flavour. Everyone enjoyed. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

All the food was excellent but there wasn’t much selection when I got there. I was told Friday and Saturday will have lots more. Definitely worth going to for same tasty food. Samosa is in filo pastry and not Indian pastry but it was might delicious still.

Wonderful food, hot - very tasty. Excellent service and great value for money. This place is ideal if you are catering for a large dinner party. The potato and aubergine curry was exceptional, the chickpeas and fried puri breads were so addictive and their daal was delicious. The panner/peas curry is fantastic but my favourite are the cutchori - balls of pastry stuffed with peas - I ate a few! The service is brilliant as they were able to make everything mild. This place has a huge authentic vegetarian menu at very reasonable prices.

Tucked away behind the car wash and bed place on Alma Street, If you don't know it's there then you will miss it and drive past. A good selection of Gujrati food from Sweet to Savory, really handy to pop down to town if you fancy a bit of Guji food. Pooja is a doing a great service to the local Indian community so perhaps we should appreciate what have here and use our local business's. Don't wait until it's gone then moan later. A little high on the sugar content on some of the foods as most Asians suffer from Diabetes, so perhaps Pooja need to consider reducing the sugar content in some of the dishes. Love their Dhokra, tastes great warmed up with chutney. - Jag

Always my choice for Gujarati food or food without onion and garlic. There food is responsibly priced and tasty. They have good amount of selection for Gujarati snacks. They keep pickles bottle as well as frozen items.

Great vegetarian food, snacks and sweets. I tend to go on a Saturday. The only issue I have found is when you ask for a certain amount of food in kg, they always go over by nearly double, meaning your bill comes to more. They have done this to me many times when I am looking at something else. I don't always realise until I get home and I'm always in a rush when in the store. So I suggest watching what they are doing. Would've given a 5* if they weighed food to the correct amount customers said.
