My mum managed to chicken on a pigs in blanket staff were very quick to come over and offer water and get the manager as the stubborn piggy wouldn’t budge. The manger took great care and was very calm when sorting my mum out. I will definitely be back not sure about mum I may have to put her on softer food. In all seriousness great staff great food as always thank you see you soon x

Sunday carvery with the family today 8 of us decided to go to the priory. 3 meats on offer gammon was good flavour moist a little salty for my liking, turkey was great full flavour. Roasted beef was absolutely delicious packed full of flavour and so tender with just the right meat/fat ratio. Some of the best roasted beef I’ve tasted. Good portions of meat too not stingy unlike Toby carvery. Yorkshires and different potatoes on offer, cabbage, carrots, peas ect Great value and nice to see happy Pleasant staff, shout out to all staff especially Anderson who was polite, professional and helpful who made out visit worthy.

We came in tonight for a meal with my partner, his mum, and her boyfriend, and we had such a lovely time. Even though my first steak wasn’t quite right, Allan handled it brilliantly. He got it sorted straight away, had a fresh meal cooked for me very quickly, and made sure we were all okay throughout. The service was genuinely great! Thank you, Allan, for looking after us so well. We really appreciated it!

Family of 4, no real service now, online booking system, pointed to not taken to the table, online ordering (mixed, worked well for some items less so for others, gammon can't remove the pineapple, j20 came with ice wasn't given an option), paid by phone, asked to tip... mmm service is just cooking it and bringing it to the table, which is what you are paying for... everything else is self service.... food itself very food, burger, sausage n mash, pork chop. Would go again, but do miss the human touch of service, which I don't think is really reflected in the price

Food is excellent value for money. Friendly staff, lovely surroundings inside. Is a private dining room for groups too. Variety of tables and booths. Subdued lighting.

Just had a party at Fuzzy Ed's! Brilliant service, staff are very friendly, helpful and fab with the little ones. Felt well looked after and all dietary aspects were taken in to consideration. The party food was very delicious, well presented and served at the perfect temperature for the kids to eat straight away. The party area was clean and spacious. Definitely highly recommend to anyone with small children looking for a play and party venue for a birthday. Great value for money. Thank you for all your efforts. Will be back to visit again soon!

We went to the play area where you pay £3 for each child and they get 1 ½ hours to play. We ordered food as well, which did take just over an hour to arrive but it was 2 meals for £11 which wasn't too bad. The food itself was fairly decent, standard pub food. The staff were friendly and helpful as well.

The reception was rather cold, not a very happy member of staff. 18.30 and there wasn't any cocktails jugs available, so we had to purchase glasses. Sneeky really. The dinner was as expected but the butter chicken burger was drier than necessary. Possibly over cooked. The sizzle garlic prawns with vegetables and chips was delicious, surprising large quantity of prawns. Very nice.

So when I first got there it was very busy but I found a nice quiet corner. I then had to queue for about 20 mins to order my dinner but the lovely couple next to me watched my table. I was advised it was about an hour wait for food. It took about 45 mins for dinner to come. It was delicious. I had a burger with bacon and added a fried egg. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and it was well worth the wait. Very good value for money also and the staff were incredibly friendly. I will certainly be back when I am here for work next time!

Was not and place, the carvery was good, although the xlarge is massive! Small/kids will do most people, good range on and even through we were end of service on it it was very good. Service was a bit hit and miss, a few staff around but only one person really taking orders and not that attentive (could have smiled as well). Good value menu and environment, so get what you pay for really across the board, from the clientele etc Seemed really clean despite how busy it was, and it looks like a nice pub. Had loads of parking available and good location if you're passing through.
