This place has gone downhill. Found a hair in my food and the 'premium wagyu' burger... Was definitely not premium. Very dry and overcooked. Was not offered sauce and as for the coleslaw..... Cheap, watery and shop bought and only a teaspoon full. The chicken burger was a little pink and quite watery...

VILE man in the red shirt tonight who worked there. The way he spoke to some of us was absolutely disgusting and made out we lied about the bill. Such a shame because the ladies there were good. He just spoilt it and I will not be returning. Food was okay, nothing special and was so expensive! And took ages to come too! Utterly disgusted with this man’s actions.

Really nice place to stay with an excellent welcome. The food was excellent, I ordered the Chicken Liver Pate, The Wagu Burger with Stilton, Mushrooms and Bacon and finally had the Apple Crumble to finish.... Outstanding freshly made food, absolutely fantastic...

We visited the restaurant as a family of 9 at lunchtime. The menu was varied, the food very good and excellent service. Although it was fairly quite, it felt comfortable and welcoming. Will definitely visit again.

I'll start by saying the obvious. The two waiting staff present were amazing and good at their job. The chef/s work was interesting...? 1 - Old houmous (very thick, almost had a crust on it). 2 - A dead fruit fly in the Spaghetti (this was sent back and the chicken was not replaced, whole thing could have just been replated rather than redone). 3 - Uncooked fish which I believe was Haddock if I remember correctly (thankfully we cook a lot so noticed after one bite: could be harmful). In short, bad food. Not sure what's going on in the kitchen but something should be done looking at all these other reviews. Should also add this place has been amazing for years (we last went last Christmas) so I am unsure what has changed.

The worlds end was great place to stay for the two nights, arrived on the Friday evening and did not book a table in the restaurant and found it was fully booked but after returning after dropping bags in the room we asked the question again as we were pasding through the restaurant to the bar and they found us a table and the food was great, in fact the whole weekend was great and the room was very good, quiet and very clean and two nights great sleep was had by both of us and all the staff were very polite and very helpful with any requirements so after the weekend here we would definitely recommend a stay to anyone. Thankyou to TWE.

Terrible stay. My room was small and it was not clean, and the floor in my shower was dirty, The older host of the two was rude and condescending. Won’t be returning. I left my review on their Facebook page but they deleted it, as I have been told they have deleted everyone else’s that left a unsatisfied review. It’s just full of fake positive comments from friends and all the real ones filtered out. Don’t waste your money.

A party of 23 of us had lunch at The Worlds End today, it was excellent, every person was happy with their meal, we had preordered but the service was excellent. It’s a lovely pub with a sophisticated feel to it, I shall recommend it to others and go again.

After driving past this hidden gem for years, it’s not somewhere we had ever considered popping into previously. We had initially visited a few weeks back after seeing a 2 for 1 midweek deal with the tastecard, and expected nothing more than average pub grub. It’s safe to say the food here is far beyond average. The restaurant is comfortable but also has a sophisticated feel about it. Whereas the bar area is cosy and chilled; perfect for us today with having a baby in tow. Not to mention the staff that are helpful & accommodating. The Worlds End is the perfect place for all occasions, and is fast becoming a favorite of ours.

I stayed here recently on a business trip. I was pleasantly surprised at the place. The staff were friedly, the room was clean and comfortable and the food was lovely. The only thing that let it down was the kitchen staff smoking at the entrance to the accomodation in their whites which didnt feel right.
