Disappointed. Arranged to meet a friend for lunch and arrived to find that the kitchen was being decorated so no food available and nothing on the website to indicate this. Had to go elsewhere.

Had a lovely meal. Service great, good sized portions and happen to get a bit of live music too. Will be back

Went here for Sunday lunch/dinner and the food was excellent. Everything was incredibly well seasoned and cooked fresh. It came out piping hot from being freshly cooked, rather than being sat under a heat lamp. The only reason I knocked off one star was because they weren't serving Sunday roast due to lack of stock. But I'll certainly be back to try it when they're offering it! Lovely surroundings, big car park, perfect area for a walk after dinner.

A most enjoyable visit to a traditional village pub. Good beer, a good selection of drinks and a varied menu. The landlord was good company and served a fine pint. A great menu so, We're going back for a meal this week

Can't give the full review yet, as I was only there for a short while and could not sample the ale as driving. Hope to go back and confirm the last star soon. Very friendly and helpful bar staff, spacious interior with a real fire for those Winter nights closing in.

Unfortunately not open when we stopped by. However looked a nice place in a lovely little village. It had plenty on offer and even a good band practicing in it. Spoke with the manager and sadly it is not getting the trade it needs. Such a shame.

Lovly little find. We had the beef roast dinner, I was abit hesitant as beef can be quite hit and miss. But I'm so glad I had it! It was amazing. Great staff, and a lovely park out the back, my little girl like the tree house. Definitely coming back.

I love this friendly traditional pub. Food is very good value for money.staff are accomodating. I recently stayed for 3 nights in a lovely en suite room. Clean and a very comfortable bed. Also my dog was allowed to stay in room. Only a short walk from the canal. Highly recommended. My star rating is 4.5
