Great food and service, can't be faulted. Sunday lunch is great, only minor gripe is could have done with a bit more stuffing, but the meat portion was HUGE! Overall great price for lovely food. Would definitely go again and would recommend.
100% the best roast dinner out in Northampton. Super friendly and attentive staff. Zero complaints. Lots of choice, top quality just so delicious! Couldn’t recommend more!
Very well catered for our table of 5 today for a family lunch. All 5 meals were cooked fresh and served hot and the portions were all great too! A warm welcoming pub serving hearty british food, what more could you want! 5⭐️
Held a party for my son’s birthday. Was incredible. Staff were courteous and very accommodating. Our buffet food was lovely. Was an amazing night and can’t thank Tom and the team enough for making it a wonderful night to remember. The function room was ideal for us. All of our guests felt the same. We’ll be returning for sure. Tom, Megan and team, well done!
We hosted a wedding party there and from the initial meeting to the end of the event Tom, Meghan and the team were absolutely fantastic. Their support, organisation and advice made it the most incredible day. The food was outstanding, the function room and garden absolutely spot on. All the guests praised the pub, food, staff and drink. We could not have asked for it to have gone any better. The Olde Cobbler helped finish the wedding on a real high. I would 100% recommend holding an event here, they just took all the stress away. Thank you so much
Very friendly staff. The food is all home-cooked and piping hot when you get it. Been on many occasions to this pub and never once has our family ever had a complaint about the food. There’s usually 10 or 12 of us that go each time spending £250 and it is absolutely excellent.
We like the Sunday lunch here and staff are really friendly. Only disappointment was family facing us didn't know how to eat properly. Were using their fingers rather than cutlery...most off putting to be honest. There were other unruly children as well. Not sure what could be done..sign of the times I guess but certainly has put us off going on a Sunday again
It was a quiet restaurant for a Saturday afternoon however we really enjoyed our lunch here. It offers good quality food at reasonable prices and very friendly service. We were there to celebrate a special occasion and they did make us feel special with a little added touch to our yummy Eton Mess. Thank you :)
Very nice restaurant. An upgrade from buddies which used to be there. The foods delicious and it’s worth the money. A good variety of drinks too
