Wonderful Christmas gathering. Food was lovely, atmosphere really good, staff excellent! All complimented by Enzo providing a wonderful variety of live music. Absolutely brilliant!!

Another Sunday lunch at the Elly, same great experience. Unbeatable for value (£11 ea, including a pint). Friendly, smiling staff, prompt service, hot food (plenty of it), great roasted spuds and lovely thick gravy. These guys have it nailed. Thanks!
I am staying at a local hotel and this venue is handy due to location. The staff are friendly and the food has been very good and arrives promptly even when busy. It is highly popular with senior customers and has a generally good feel although the furniture and decor are very tired indeed with most seating heavily stained.
Have eaten here a few times. I find it better than the average Hungry Horse in terms of food quality and portion sizes. Quick, easy, affordable dining.
As the stars say "its okay." Megan, our server, was the loveliest, friendliest person and was very apologetic for all the things we wanted to order but couldn't as they were not available, sadly. The actual place looks okay from the outside, but inside has definitely seen better days and was noticeably tatty with tables drawn on and seats ripped, which made me wonder what state the kitchen is kept in. Food was as expected at a chain pub with the standard frozen microwaved offerings charging over £7 for a kids' pizza that was clearly a micro Chicago Town style. The steak was cooked to perfection as ordered, so kudos to the chef. But overall, it's basic and a convenient meeting place for the family.
Lovely little pub, friendly staff and a good food menu. It has a range of seating areas, so if you want to sit watch some sports, or be social around the bar or sit in a more quiet area you can. Free car parking round the back Small outdoor seating area.
A popular busy pub and restaurant. We ate in the bar area, a few tables had been vacated but not cleared which limited our choice of table to sit at. The bar staff were friendly and and the waiting staff were efficient. Steaks were cooked too perfection.
Been staying here in the hotel for 6 weeks and ate in here every night. Food is good quality and cooked well. Staff are friendly and attentive to your needs. Frank, Dan, Martin, Laura and all the girls looked after us very well. I’ve pretty much tried everything on the menu now and I can highly recommend the Korean burger. If I’m ever in the area I would certainly return for a meal.
