   I had a fantastic experience at this fish and chips shop! The chips were perfectly cooked – golden, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just how they should be. The shop itself is very clean and tidy, which makes a great impression as soon as you walk in. The staff are also really friendly and welcoming, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and great service!

   Had cod and chips twice at lunch time. Made me ill won't go into detail and my wife feels ill. Shame used to be so good but won't be going back there. Unfortunately this is the lowest rating I can leave.

   Used to be really good. Finally gave the new owners a go Asked for a large bag of chips - would hardly call it a small - and they weren’t that good either People in there were rude, not sure if were the new owners A real shame, Won’t be back

   I’ve used this chip shop for years, but it’s never been the same since the new owners took over, However tonight was the worst ever. Even worse than before when the batter was soggy and the fish just mush. This time the sausage looked anaemic and as for the chips, well they was just a load of white mush that I was unable separate or eat and definitely not cooked for long enough Even though I only had sausage and chips it was still a 20 minute wait, it seems to me like they can’t cope with the typical Friday night influx, even with 3 staff!!! I never normally write reviews but thought I should let people know I won’t be returning there again!

   This is my choice shop for takeaway. They always provide a generous portion of fish and chips with a nice coating of crispy batter on the fish. All very tasty. Helpful staff, decent prices and the dog enjoys the chips as a treat too!
