Used to be our favourite chinese since there opening but rising costs with smaller portions and lower food quality recently means we wont be ordering again

This is our local, regular takeaway. The prices are a little more than other Chinese takeaways nearby but the food is always good so we’re happy to pay it. However, we had a takeaway for 6 people last week and spent more than £70 and another this week for 7 people that cost £91 and we didn’t even get a complimentary bag of prawn crackers - seriously, when you’re spending that kind of money it’s the little touches like including prawn crackers that go a long way…especially when they probably cost them pence to produce. Very disappointed
Have used this takeaway for 3 years always good, today, cold egg fried rice without even a hint of egg, undercooked chips, chicken curry was good, chicken balls good. spring rolls-missing, certainly not worth the £15 paid. Will not use again
Food WAS amazing came Still hot!! Best Chinese I’ve had in a long time and was here super fast on a Saturday evening. Going to be my new local Chinese!! The lady that delivered was super lovely also!!

Terrible, terrible, terrible experience. Ordered food at counter and was told usual 20 minute wait. Lots of other people awaiting orders too. Lots to raised voices coming through from behind the kitchen curtain and it was apparent that they were frantically trying to cook more orders than they were capable of producing and it was totally chaotic what dishes came out of the kitchen. After 40 minutes waiting I asked how much longer my order would take and the "reception" lady said not long now... I waited another 7 minutes so thstt was nearly an hour from originally placing my food order. Not acceptable. The dish itself Singapore Noodles was dry, luke warm and had mainly veg in it and hardly any meat. I will not be using this Chinese takeaway again and would recommend that other people think twice about using this establishment.
Have been ordering from here about once a week for 3 years (about£30), never again. Monday ordered 5pm delivery, pork foo yeung was 2 slithers of uncooked pork fat, half handful beansprouts, block of scrambled egg in beige water, the beef chop suey was 2 pieces of beef, 2 pieces of carrot half handful of beansprouts in beige water, the salt and chilli ribs did not even cover the bottom of the foil tray, were black and came off bone like wooden splinters, the chicken curry had one piece of chicken, the curry sauce was barely thicker than water and tasteless. I cannot believe they let 'food' like this leave the kitchen let alone deliver it. So disappointed.
This is a great takeaway! Has 5 star hygiene and having been in there in person, I saw the place was spotless. Very friendly staff and very nice food. We've been there twice for collection as they don't deliver to us but we won't be going anywhere else, it's that good!
