Silvie was very attentive and polite. Absolutely no problems with the great service. Food was another matter. It all looked good and was hot when served. The portion sizes were good. However, the Signature burgers were a let down. We were not asked how we wanted them to be cooked (rare, medium etc) and the meat had an unusual grey colour to it and an even stranger odd taste. We couldn’t pin it down but they were grey and almost synthetic tasting. The rib meat on top of them was very nice, but combined with the burger it became quite unpleasant. We both had to make use of ketchup and mayonnaise to disguise the taste. The fish in the fish and chips was dry and my wife said she did not enjoy it as it was flavourless and the batter was very hard. I don’t understand all the good reviews but we won’t be returning.

I’ve been here a few time and the food is decent. They have a lovely garden with lots of tables and benches. Dogs are very welcome! Staff have always been friendly.

We visited the pub for Lunch and oh baby was it tasty. I’m sure Anton who served us is a Michelin trained chef. He was very attentive and polite throughout our whole dining experience. What a pleasure to meet you and dine in your incredible establishment

Loved the late afternoon lunch with my friend. The creamy garlic mushrooms were absolutely divine and the service was great. The lovely Kodie was gracious and ensured that we were taken care of. Definitely coming back and look forward to sitting outside in the summer!

Group of four for a birthday Sunday roast. My partner had been here for his work Christmas Dinner and said it was fantastic so we decided to try it. It was absolutely scrummy. The portions were really generous and the food was delicious. The staff are really friendly. The decor is really cosy and the tables are well spaced apart which is brilliant. Highly recommended!

Arrived at the end of our Canal holiday with our two dogs and the waitress kindly found us a table despite the busyness. Lovely meal to round off the holiday and thanks to the pub for accommodating us so well.

Popped in on a Sunday afternoon to see if we could get a roast. Thought we would struggle to get a table, but we were given a lovely shady spot in the garden. Service was quick and the food was delicious!

Lovely pub interiors and exteriors. The gardens are very modern and lots of room for dogs and children. Cute duck pond too. It’s great for sunshine as it’s west facing with epic sunsets over the fields. It would have been 5 stars but the food was very average. We ordered the top steak which was very cheap meat in my opinion. Not cooked very well either. My partners pie looked nice but lacked flavour. Hopefully it was an off day for them. With better quality ingredients and better food this place could be amazing.
