Cold food felt like cooked about half hour ago at 5pm on a Thursday evening. No one here and would happily wait for fresh food. Disappointing.
Terrible service, rude server, ordered Thai green chicken curry it had one piece of chicken hardly any sauce. Halloumi wrap which had the smallest piece of overcooked halloumi hardly any sauce. Kimchi cross cut chips were cold and soggy. The front of house server was so rude and unwelcoming I nearly cancelled our order! To top it off the prices are obviously extortionate! Would not rate at all if could.
I was still hungry after a meal from another merchant at the services so I decided to try a vegan burger. The service was quick and the burger was nice and I would happily eat this alternative once a week even though I found it to be a little expensive.
Overall, it was a good experience. My girlfriend and I ordered a burger and a wrap. They were both good, I am just giving a review of 4 stars and not 5 because it wasn't anything special and I was expecting a little bit more. It's definitely better than a Mcdonald though.
I was pleasantly surprised to find somewhere so good, tasty and healthy at a motorway services. I had the moroccan (non) meatballs, a flatbread and a latte. I was impressed with the taste and freshness and will defo eat at a Leon again :-)
It’s not often one finds a Leon’s, so decided to grab a bite, even though we had stopped to use the restroom services, at the Northampton location. There was a choice of Costa and McDonald’s as well. Leon has a great menu, photo shows some options, as menu is showcased on rotating slides. Very healthy options including salads and rice with black beans and lentils etc. Wraps and burger options also available. Vegetarian burger option available as well. Leon has their own little exclusive sitting area, very nicely done with comfortable seating. Various size of tables to accommodate a couple, or four or more people. Plenty of spillover seating by the Mc Donald’s The waffle fries with the wrap were piping hot, albeit a bit salty for my palate. Includes a drink in the meal deal, which is just 25 p extra if you were just getting fries and wrap. Almost took coffee, then settled for can of lemonade, so we could hit the road again while the rain had abated somewhat.
Fresh, delicious and served up faster than the neighbouring fast food outlets. We had Satay curry (pictured) and a halloumi wrap, which were both very tasty and satisfying. The staff were courteous and checked for allergies as a matter of course, which is much appreciated when one of you is gluten free. Highly recommended.
