   Bought a beautiful maxi velvet coat from Jaba yard which arrived in good time unfortunately it was too big so I returned it and in the meantime ordered a smaller one which arrived almost the next day Absolutely amazing service so very helpful and the coat is gorgeous

   The sweetest shop in Brighton, selling the most gorgeous pieces. I purchased a set of pajamas and unfortunately, when I got home, they weren’t quite my size. I don’t live locally and had only visited Brighton for the weekend, so I emailed the shop and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. They sent me a prepaid label to return the PJs and quickly shipped out the correct size. Their communication and service have been exceptional throughout the whole process. I can’t wait to visit Brighton again and pop back into this beautiful independent shop!

   I visited Bond Street’s Jaba Yard (Brighton) today and had a very upsetting experience. I saw some beautiful clothes that I wanted to try on for an upcoming event and asked if it was okay to use the fitting room. Instead of simply letting me, the lady working looked at me and said “Oh, we only go up to a size 14 in that. We’ve ordered bigger sizes, so maybe you can come back.” I hadn’t even picked up the skirt yet but she automatically dismissed me by assuming it wouldn’t fit. It was alienating, and for the first time in a long time, I ended up crying in public. The clothes themselves are lovely, but I really urge the owners and staff: please don’t tell customers they “look too big” for your clothing. It’s rude and unnecessary. Let people try things on for themselves, if something doesn’t fit, that’s fine, but everyone deserves the dignity of making that choice without being judged first.

   It's a standing joke in my family that Jaba Yard is one of my first stops whenever I'm in Brighton. I've bought quite a few items both in store and online and I love the fact that, in general, the clothes are different to what you can get on the high street. I find the staff friendly and willing to help without being too pushy (in fact I've had some very good advice about what suits me and what doesn't) and the clothes are good quality. At my most recent visit, earlier this month, I saw an outfit but didn't try on or buy, thinking I would be able to buy online when I got home. Unfortunately it wasn't on the website. I emailed Jaba Yard with a description of the clothes I wanted and they were added to the website so I was able to go through the normal ordering process. Amazing. Orders are turned around very quickly and generally received within 3 days of being placed. The returns process is also good. I returned something I ordered that was the wrong size using the prepaid return slip and my replacement items were delivered the following week. I highly recommend this shop.

   I popped into Jaba Yard for the first time a couple of weeks ago despite having lived in Brighton for over 4 years. I had searched everywhere in Brighton for the perfect winter coat and found it here! Both the staff were really friendly and helpful. I bought a beautiful coat from Sea Salt which cost a little more than I was planning to spend but it is such good quality and I know will last me for many years. It kept me very warm and dry for a trip to Scotland in February! Thank you Jaba Yard for a perfect shopping experience ☺️

   Nice to see Seasalt being stocked. I hadn't been here for about 5 year's and remember it stocking more unusual clothing. Loved the home store Jaba next door and the clothing section. Beautiful Christmas decorations.

   Went I Bond street branch. Nice shop, plenty of gift ideas for Ladies. Went in yesterday for a gift card. Only negative is the service received but especially the lack of imagination and creativity in making the gift card More appealing...it was just a card in a small envelope.
