Excellent food, very friendly and down to earth staff, relaxing and cozy atmosphere. Overall a nice place and would go again. Areas of improvement: The service could've been a little bit quicker. The little vinegar packets were a nightmare to get into. Would prefer just having a bottle on the table.

After a lovely afternoon wandering around the little shops at the Old Dairy Farm, buying Christmas gifts for loved ones, I treated myself to coffee and cake at this gorgeous cafe. The pecan & ginger cake was fiery with real fresh ginger flavour, and the Two Chimps coffee beans made for a delicious cappuccino. Lovely service in a cafe with the same handmade quirky vibe as the craft shops on site.

Lovely place in the middle of small craft shops, beautiful settings. It was busy when we get get there, but even the waiting time was long, it was worth it as it was delicious. There was nice selection of cakes, home made and coffe was really nice! It is great place to visit!

Visited the barn restaurant today and as usual enjoyed a lovely lunch. Very busy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Generous portions and beautiful good quality food. Will be back again next week.

Hearty portions of lovingly prepared food make the Barn Cafe well above average. All of our dishes were great and others we saw coming out of the kitchen looked similarly appetising. I highly recommend The Barn; it's well worth the detour from the M1.

Used to eat here a lot a few years ago although i know it had changed owners so wanted to see what it was like now. My partner and I came in for lunch with our dog. The food was nice, i had a sandwich and my partner had a jacket potato. however the whole experiance was ruined by the owners child running riot around the whole restaurant, constantly banging doors, thumping up and down the stairs, running round with display items, throwing paper plates about and smashing the cups and saucers with a broom. Sadly won't be back.

Ideal place to meet friends as halfway between East Mids and London and is a short distance away from the M1 Motorway. Nice food in a quiet, picturesque village.

Fabulous food in generous portion sizes and staff are nice. You have the option of sitting outside or inside. Outside has umbrellas for shade or you can put them down to enjoy the sun. Inside does have fans to cool down in the summer and a stove to warm up in winter. Lovely place with a selection of independent shops where we take anyone who visits. Selection of homemade cakes available with gluten free options.
