   The place is a mess and it smells awful. The carpets look as though they have never been cleaned. Possibly that is where the smell comes from. There is random bits of junk all over the place, like donated rubbish that nobody wants. Food is very average. I would hope not to return

   Stayed at the Premier Inn next door for 2 nights. Had breakfast both days. Mark the host/waiter was first class. He was very welcoming and efficient taking orders. Despite a full restaurant he was super organised and handled it in an exemplary way. I travel the UK a lot and use many different Premier Inns. This is not always the case, so hats off to him for a great service. The food arrived quickly, cooked to order as requested. This Premier Inn and restaurant next door is *highly recommended*

   Had a very enjoyable evening meal here with family. Really enjoyed the food on offer and the staff were wonderful. Looking forward to our next visit. Even though it was a busy evening we did not have to wait too long for our food, all in all good value for money.

   As a vegan, I was impressed with the amount of choice on offer, and although when the food came out, my meal paled in comparison to the meat based equivalent , I still appreciated the effort to offer more than the standard fare. The service was slow to start with, waiting 20 minutes to be offered a drink and then it was only because we asked a passing member of the service staff. Another member of staff angrily shouted for some of the other servers to giver her a hand which was an odd but entertaining touch. The people I dined with all said their meals were good

   We had a voucher for 50% off main meals so we booked a table. We visited and was greeted by the very friendly staff, from the waitress to the barman. Even though it was Saturday evening we had a choice of tables to sit at. Nice choice on the menu and reasonable prices. Myself and wife chose the half roast chicken, but unfortunately they had no stock. So we opted instead for the smothered chicken melt. The food arrived in good time, was hot and tasted very nice. I had cheesecake and my wife had the apple and blackberry crumble for dessert. Prices were very reasonable and even much better with our 50% off mains voucher. I wouldn't hesitate to give it 5 stars, however what let it down was food left on the floor under the tables. Apart from that it was very good. We will be back.
