So so slow......(!) Should you order anything. An almighty amount of patience needed if more than a few people there
Appalling. I booked a table for 3 at for 2.30 on the 10th April. When we arrived we were greeted with "we can only give you coffe and cake." This puzzled me as I had received a message on my phone the evening before saying that the roast wouldn't be available but everything else was still on the menu. When I explained this to the "waitress" she went back into the kitchen and returned saying "we can do you a sandwich" . No apologies. The tearoom reeked of stale cooking fat, there were crusts and crumbs all over the floor. We phoned another venue and left immediately. If I could award 0 stars I would. I never write negative reviews but given that one of my party had travelled from Norfolk I was and still am extremely angry with the way we were treated. My advice? DON'T GO!
What's not to like about tea and cake! Nice spacious place, good choice of food and drink, popular place, with farm shop next door.
Coffee, hot chocolate and cake were all lovely but the tables and cutlery need a good clean
Lovely little restaurant which is well worth a visit. Had the all day breakfast which was excellent quality and freshly cooked. Waiter was friendly and helpful and they catered well for a food allergy. Good value for money and a lovely little area set aside for the kids to play in. Highly recommended.
