Bit pricey but worth it. Bacon wasn't what I'd call proper streaky but I'm picky. All in all it was great food, well presented and served fairly quickly.
Lengthy wait at the bar with two busy preparing drinks, whilst two other members of staff were chatting and waiting at the food serving hatch for customer meals. After a few minutes one decided to pop behind the bar and serve me. Not sure why it took that long? I ordered the soup of the day which was very good. A bit mean with the sourdough toast, though. Asked for tabasco sauce, and not available here ( most Lounges have it). Very busy inside, and the Asian female greeting customers was very friendly with a genuine smile.
Held my sisters baby shower here on 5th october for 14 people and the team were so amazing as they made it so easy. The lady taking the booking helped massively and even when I rang back and spoke to another member of the team a few days later they were so helpful. Made it so easy to order the pre order of tapas we chose for everyone to share, double checked on the morning about allergiss and how we would like things presented. When we got there, despite not doing this type of party before, they had set out a little area for us to have the tapas in larger bowls so everyone could help themselves. They were so helpful during the day by getting extra tables/napkins or anything else we needed. They were amazing. Drinks were done quickly and good value as delicious. The food was amazing! Thank you all so much for your help in making my sisters baby shower so memorable.
First time eating out as a family with 2 young kids and this place smashed it out of the park! Clearly labelled menus for all dietary requirements, amazing for us as my daughter has severe food allergies, plus the staff double checked the ingredients when we put the order in. Lovely environment, quick service, family friendly but also a great place for a date! Will definitely be coming back.
If you go to Verso you can not go wrong. It is a beautifully decorated place with delicious food for every occasion. We had been there before for tea and some churros, o in other occasions for burgers but this time for some of the more elaborated mains. I would really recommend and surely come back.
Loved the food here, nice options for everyone for a good price. The atmosphere and service are very good. The big windows are a plus in sunny days. Ps: blankets available if you want to stay outside, also water and treats for dogs.
Had a good time out with my friends there recently, however the restaurant closes at 11pm and 10:05pm we were denied desert as the kitchen was closed? I understand if it’s something that needed to be cooked, but unless the chef was going to whip up a cake and slice it there and then for us, there was no reason for that I think. This on top of a mediocre meal and the lack of non alcoholic beers on a weekend night. Won’t be rushing to go back personally
Authentic, cozy and beautiful place. Great location, friendly staff. There are special tables for kids to draw, books to read for adults, I could see some people were using their laptops for work. Lovely and free atmosphere. First time I tried bergamot and honey cake , and I can tell, it was made in heaven ! I definitely will visit again.
I love this place. Warm and friendly service & ambience Good food with an additional vegan menu. Rustic style interior with old paintings covering the walls and lampshades on lights that make for calm lighting. There is a mix of music at a reasonable volume. Glass windows fill half the interior, so lots of lovely natural light. There is plenty of outside seating, although we've not used this yet. A variety of styles of seating inside with wooden tables. You don't need to make a reservation that hasn't yet caused a problem. They do fab coffee, cocktails & mocktails and a free to use water dispenser with stacked glasses It's in a accessible location right by the library, shopping centre & car park, with wheelchair access (front door & dining is at ground level)
