   Me and my husband went here for our lunch today and were absolutely blown aware by the service and the food! The lady who was dealing with our order was so lovely, she took the time to chat to us and didn’t make us feel rushed at all! When it came to the food, I cannot put into words how good it was. The meat was so tender, the veg cooked to perfection and the presentation was clean and flawless. Fantastic from start to finish.

   Review is based on 2 visits in quick succession, after the first visit couldn’t wait to go again! Good parking for those driving, very cosy and welcoming bar area, kind of place you want to while away the hours. The food is great pub fayre with elevated flair, very tasty and generous portions. Staff are welcoming and pleasant. Visited a second time a few weeks after for a pub quiz and it seems as though there are regular events and evenings on. Definitely a great sense of community.

   Great Sunday lunch experience. Six of us visited for Sunday lunch and we were in for a treat. Starter's, mains and deserts were lovely. Add to that lovely friendly staff and it's an all round winner. The toilets are a bit dated but other than that we all had a great time. We will definitely be visiting again.

   Our first time in Hixon and we booked The Bank House and I can safely say we were not disappointed. We are a family of 6 and they catered for all. The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional. Wish we stayed closer but Glasgow is just a tad of a trek. Highly recommended. Thank you
