This chippy was good before, now it seems to have changed hands and is still as good if not better. Fish was massive, hubby and I share one between us with shared standard size Chips and large curry sauce. Wish there was a home delivery service. Now that would be brilliant.

Really good fish and chips. Large fish was too big for me and the large chips way more than 2 of us could eat. Beautifully cooked, lovely crisp batter. As a visitor to Stone only sorry it's not my local but we did manage 2 meals from there during our visit.

Visiting Stone from Scotland to stay with friends. Bought 4 large fish suppers. We all really enjoyed them, really well cooked and well packaged/wrapped. Very friendly staff. Will definitely return. Thanks

Look at the state of this vile slop... went in, asked if I could have my chips extra crispy, the guy said they can't do it unless I wait for a fresh batch. So I waited... the chips are the soggiest things I've ever seen... straight in the bin... I asked for 2 battered sausages.... well just look at the state of them...and as for the soggy fish that was so poorly cooked it stuck to the grease proof paper....£14 straight in the bin... the main guy working there was short tempered and needs to take a course in how to speak to customers. Should be ashamed of yourselves lads...

I love the fish and chips . They cook it well.. if you have been to the busy place by the roundabout.. give this place a try and taste the difference . Just had 2 large cod and 1 large chips and it went down a treat.

Fish wasn't too bad but the chips were very small and only just warm , got all the signs of reheated chips from the previous night , so we won't be going there again

Stopped for our Friday tea after a hard day on holiday on the canal. Asked for 2 small cod and a cone of chips as we have from home local chip shop. All I can say is the fish were not small - we could have had one between us - and the chips would be enough for two days. As for the price - it was 30 pence cheaper than at home. People who complain about the meal they get need to be ignored imo.

Love this place. Fish and chips are excellent, substantial portions, mushy peas not far off my strict northern standards. Never been let down on quality yet. Now a Friday night staple!
