   The other day I popped in to purchase an item I have had my eye on for a while and Adam who served me on menswear was very efficient and helpful. He was busy processing some replen in between customers when he clocked me approaching the till point, he stopped what he was doing straight away and made sure I was served quickly. I’m a retail store manager myself and I’m very passionate about customer service especially in a world where most staff are lack lustre, lack passion or service whatsoever and most retailers rely on self service. I am very critical as you can probably tell. (I’m also an ex Next manager from Havant branch, 2012-2019) It’s great to see next still prides itself on brilliant service and I thank you Adam, I had a wonderful day and he represented my now local next store very well. Excellent service isn’t out of the box it’s the basics, friendly, Authentic, Engaged and efficient. Thank you Adam and the team at Next Churchill square for being brilliant. I look forward to returning

   An ok selection of casual/casual-smart menswear but the staff aren't particularly helpful or friendly. I had to fold and pack my own purchases which is fine but definitely not the norm.

   rubbish experience. My partner and I had come from the gym so were in work out clothes, the manager Joe served us and was unbelievably rude and miserable. Never in my life have I felt the need to leave a review for poor service but he looked at us like we were dirt on the bottom of his shoe and like he would rather be anywhere else but where he was. I understand the general clientele of this store may not normally be young and in fitness wear but his behaviour was absolutely foul and disrespectful, especially as a manager! We were parting with our money just the same as any other customer, go to M&S down the road instead and safe yourself the judgement and disrespect.

   I never really end up buying anything in the store; it's a little bit small and not a huge selection. I generally buy online and have it delivered. I was very impressed by Lorraine's customer service. I went to pick up an order and only three items out of ten had arrived. Lorraine was not only apologetic but was also straight on the phone to find out where my delivery was. That kind of initiative and customer service is sadly not always there in other stores I've visited.

   Guessing this won't be a surprise to either the store manager ( nice) or the sales assistant ( horrible). Love Next, love the company, clothing and furniture been buying for years since it first open. When found the most amazing dress.... then the sales assistant walked by... filthy look central. I was only putting a dress back correctly as it slipped off the wrong hanger... Yes maybe I shouldnt have shouted out in the store that's the woman who gave me a filthy look, but it hurt and I felt totally degraded. I really hope just for a split second you felt the pain I felt when you walked by and judged me. Dress wise I will buy it online and never feel the need to go in that store again... P.s like most customers I did chat to a few other shops I went in to and told them off my experience!!
