I absolutely love Subway — it’s my favourite food. I’ve visited many branches, and a few stand out as really good. This particular store is definitely among them. The staff were friendly and attentive, and their service felt genuine. The sandwich I got was fresh, tasty and made just the way I wanted. Overall, it was a great experience
A senior member of staff i.e. manager was being verbally neglectful towards a junior member of staff. I had just arrived to get my daily sandwich from the shop when I witnessed this happening. I found from his name badge that his name was Vibin and he was the manager. Vibin was calling the trainee disrespectful and very rude names e.g. dumb, stupid and lazy. The trainee was hurt by the insults and tried to explain she was stressed because of all the work she had to do, but Vibin kept talking her over. Eventually, the trainee had had enough and just walked back into the kitchen. I felt disgusted about what I had just witnessed. I have never ever seen anything like this happen in any other store across the county. I myself am an employer at a certain store and my senior manager is very respectful and understandable about the time unlike this person I have seen. Would not recommend.
Waited for over 5 minutes then I had to press a bell to get someone’s attention… The guy that served me was not interested in making my sub. His body language and very little talk showed that. I felt like I needed to apologise for being a customer… I do not recommend this place.
Absolutely horrible sub. Especially the waffle fries taste days old. The man at the counter was least interested in serving and made it seem like i’ve disturbed his peace by placing an order
Terrible service. We waited about five minutes before seeing a tiny bell on the counter you're supposed to ring. Then a grumpy bloke came out who acted as if we were speaking in riddles and everything seemed under prepared and a struggle for him. The salad was probably fresh yesterday and the bread the same. I asked for a cup drink but was told the machine was broken so I believe I paid extra for a bottle. Then only one of the tables was clean. Overall way below the standards of other Subway stores. It seemed understaffed and the bloke they had employed really didn't want to be there!
Claims to open at 8am, but I'm told the food is not ready yet, or no one is around yet can hear staff hanging around in the back. What's the point in having a breakfast menu if no-one can order it?
I don't often go to Subway, but there wasn't much else around... Anyway, the lady who carefully prepared my 6" Roast Chicken Sandwich was just really nice, polite and professional. She made by far The Best Subway Sandwich I've ever had. She turned what would have been, a slightly depressing sandwich at a service station, into a genuinely pleasant experience. I didn't catch her name, but she looked just like Joanne Froggatt, of Downtown Abbey fame. 17:30, Wednesday, 8th Feb, 2023.
The guy who is working here didn't served me and went for his break when I got my turn to order. .-.
This place has predominantly changed my view on the way staff should treat customers, the food as it has allways been top tier I've been twice now and both times it has been my best experience with subway. I had a wonderful chat with the staff member his name is James, we spoke about rectangles and square, pizza and sandwiches. An honestly fun experience, I would 100% go again. P.s if your reading this James we should protest for you not pizza
