I live in Great Yarmouth and came here while staying at California Cliffs. It's quite pleasantry and would certainly come here again. A bit far away for me to have on the regular but if I'm in the area then certainly pop in

I am British born Chinese on holiday in Norfolk, I thought I'd try out this Chinese after reading the reviews. We had BBQ Ribs in BBQ sauce, Boiled Rice, Mixed Meat with Crispy Noodles (J6), Sweet and Sour Pork Cantonese style, Shrimp Foo Young. Was given free Prawn Crackers and a couple of Fortune Cookies. Let's start with Service and Atmosphere: Service is slow, we had a 45 min wait - we were not forewarned, I overheard from customers before me. Slow service is not a problem as this place is popular it would seem. Atmosphere is scored low - its a takeaway, not much you can do but either sit and wait for your food or go have a drink somewhere and return later (didn't want to return as wanted to keep food hot). Food - I am happily surprised. Good portion sizes for each dish, good flavours too. Price was reasonable. Definite positive is the Crispy Noodle with Mixed Meat though a bit more noodles would be nice. Good amount and size of meats, best dish for us. S/S Pork was on point, nice and Crispy and good flavour sauce, second favourite. Shrimp Foo Young was really good (forgot to say no mushroom, had quite a few in there), third favourite. And finally BBQ Ribs in BBQ Sauce- surprisingly our least favourite when I thought it would score higher due to the sauce being a little too...takeaway BBQ-y(?). Plenty of Ribs, meaty and fall off the bone. Only negative was the BBQ sauce on ribs was a bit too gloopy Boiled Rice don't count as part of the dishes though there was a good amount of rice given. The added Prawn Crackers and Fortune Cookies were a nice added bonus All in all, it was really good, just slow due to popularity, I guess We are staying in California and our local here didn't appeal to me much compared to HK Chinese and bejng only a 5 min drive, glad I found this place and chose to order from here Sorry forgot to take photos of the food

Smaller portion sizes than I am used to from any Chinese, but was slightly cheaper,so that maybe why. Food very tasty, apart from the chips which were very dry and chewy. But the salt and chilli chicken balls were the best I have tried.

This is not the best Cantonese food you’ll ever have but it does the job and is very cheap with decent portion sizes. Most dishes are £5-7, but not served with rice/noodles (which have to be ordered separately) and contain a decent amount of meat and sauce. The house satay was a nice dish I’ve never tried before, the chicken sweetcorn soup and chicken chow mein was also really tasty classic dishes. Found that the roast duck Szechuan style was quite an odd dish, rather sweet and floppy, non crispy skin on the duck itself. Definitely a good cheap option if you’re holidaying nearby.

Second time of ordering from here and again not disappointed. Singapore style vermicelli and chicken with bamboo shoots and water chestnuts yummy.

Well I ordered at 830pm last night and collected 10 minutes later. Its now 1.50am and I've spent the last hour with severely bad stomach throwing up and diarrhoea. We ate here 3 years ago and it was poor, but we were told it had improved so gave it another try. It has not improved. Terrible food and has made me very ill.

We read some of the reviews and threw caution to the wind and......it was actually, pretty good. The prawns were big, the peppers and onions were fresh, fried nicely and crisp. The chicken in the Cantonese sauce was just as we like it...nice chilli kick. The crackers were excellent. We rate all Chinese Restaurants against the one that we have been to for 25 years and this came damn close. Thumbs up from us....a very decent restaurant in our opinion.

Worst Chinese I have ever had. Ordered Shredded Chicken with Crispy Fried Noodles The chicken was not shredded, just lumps of boiled chicken. The noodles were not crispy, just raw uncooked non edible noodles The sauce was bland . Seriously bad almost comical. Waste of money

Normal range of Cantonese food. 15 minute wait for order on a quiet Wednesday evening. Nice portion sizes. Good chunky pieces of meat and vegetables in the dishes. Very tasty food. Dishes do NOT come with chips or rice like many other Chinese takeaways. Double check your change as young assistant taking orders seems to lack basic mathematics skills!
