   I have to say what has happened to the lovely friendly staff ? I bought a white denim jacket to wear tonight and what has been left on the huge security tag.so I can not wear it. Quick to take the money not very good customer service.we are meant to be shopping in the high street.To help save our local shops and keep the staff.Also Bonmarche has stopped the NHS Blue light card.Not a great move.

   A homeless man’s bag had split outside the store, leaving the only belongings he had going everywhere, including his lunch. I dashed into the store and asked for a bag; I was happy to pay the 20p. The two women said they can’t take card for such a little amount (I only had Apple Pay on me). I explained the situation and they wouldn’t give an act of kindness and give the poor guy a bag anyway. I left, frustrated. I ran next door to Claire’s Accessories and she wouldn’t take the payment, she gave it to me for free, no problems. It’s these small acts of kindness that makes all the difference. So rude and unhelpful.

   Walked in the store with my wife who was going to purchase quite a few clothes she had seen from a previous visit and we had our 1 year old shih tzu dog with us who is the most laid back and calm dog ever. As soon as the woman behind the till saw our dog she shouted to us to get out as she doesnt like dogs in her shop. We checked the door for signs and there was no mention of dogs not allowed in the shop. Every other shop we went in made a fuss of the dog and some even have doggy biscuits behind the counter. Beales welcomed the dog and we got fixed up with quite a lot clothes at better prices so did us a favour

   I do like this shop, light, airy and easy to get around. Quality clothes at a reasonable price. Worthing has a lovely group of staff, always cheery and helpful. Changing Rooms are generously sized.
