This shop is top of its game, the staff are attentive and even happy to try on clothes for you, the stock is excellent with some really unique brands you can’t get anywhere else the owner has a great eye and wealth of experience in creating a great retail experience. It always amazes me that even the best shops get wierd negative reviews.
Popped in and picked up a few MfPen pieces, great store, great vibe, great staff. James was an absolute pleasure to deal with as were the rest of the team. Will definitely be heading back over to pick up more bits going forward.
Excellent independent shop with a brilliant range of excellent clothes from quality brands. Great guys offering advice without any hard selling. Left with a very nice Folk shirt.
There is a fantastic range here, from niche labels to style classics. I am particularly inspired by some of the Japanese brands they stock but have also bought Universal Works, Stan Ray and recently a Patagonia backpack. What is great is that there is something for every budget - I might not want to splash out on a Kapital coat but just bought a super bandana by them. The store is as well laid out for browsing as it is for picking up something specific and I have always found the staff really helpful and knowledgeable (particularly on things like sizing for those Japanese brands). Their sales are incredible! We are really lucky to have such a great independent store right in the heart of the city.
I popped into Peggs and Sons recently to grab a couple of t-shirts for an upcoming holiday. What an absolute pleasure! The staff pleasant and extremely helpful (which is truly refreshing these days), without being pushy. The store has a great range of clothing and ended up walking out with far more than I planned but very happy with each item. 100% going back in soon!!
Cool clothes, but the older staff member with long grey hair (downstairs) made me feel like I was an imposition for wanting to browse in the shop. He suggested I “Browse online beforehand so I know what I want before coming into the store”. Don’t worry I won’t be wasting any of your precious time in this store again.
Me and my partner popped into store on Saturday and our visit was unmatched. The staff were so welcoming and shared so much knowledge about the pieces in the shop. We couldn’t be happier with what we walked out with. Shoutout to the young man with long hair, we didn’t catch your name however you made our experience GREAT ! Showed us some of his favourite bits and was very helpful.
Excellent range of brands and items. However, Peggs & Son’s greatest strength is it’s customer service and in particular, web sales. At a time when other stores in this market are struggling to dispatch orders and communicate with customers, Peggs continues to offer an exemplary service. A recent example would be that I ordered an item on Saturday morning, and received this Monday morning. Always reliable and a store I’ll continue to use again and again.
I've just moved to Brighton and discovered this absolute gem. Cannot fault this store. Every time I go in for a shop the service is second to none. Great bunch of lads in there that look sharp and go above and beyond to help me find the right item. They also stock the perfect menswear brands for every occasion. I love it! Definitely recommend.
Amazing service. I’ve bought online from a lot of independent menswear stores across the country and Peggs & son has offered the best service. Ordered a tee on Sunday morning using a gift voucher. Redeeming the voucher online was really straight forward and easy. The tee arrived on Monday morning with standard delivery. I would deffo recommend.
