Pointless visit, walk in make an order at lunch to get my hopes up then to be told cash only… get with the times and stop dodging the tax man
Terrible!! soggy chips" soggy greasy fish" peas ok but wow £14.50 for fish chips & peas never again!!
Ordered food an hour and a half ago and no sign of it arriving soon. Telephone line also not working! Not good! Let previous cold orders slide but over an hour and a half for 3 portions of chips and sausage is ridiculous
First time using this place. Nice and clean Staff friendly Good sized portions Hot tasty food Would recommend Will return or try their delivery service.
Being one of the only fish and chip shops in the area, you would think they would monopolize on that and buy a card processor, but no, it's cash only. People will pay for more on card than in cash too, so it doesn't make business sense to limit how people can pay. Also, they don't seem to sell any fish other than cod.
I was gutted by this place was told it was good. 3 pieces of chicken and chips. All pieces of Chicken were raw on the inside over cooked on the outside. Disgusting food. I did not bother with the chips. They need be reported.
Best Fish and Chips in Stoke I've never seen a Bit of Cod so big and cooked perfect this will be the only Chippy I use from now on and Delivery was fast and food was hot and Delivery Driver was very polite give them a try you won't be disappointed

First time trying. Unfortunately won't be visiting again. Chips - hubby says chips were nice, mine were okay. Battered sausage - alright Fish - bland, no seasoning in the batter, fish:batter ratio was hit and miss, some parts were ridiculously thick and other parts there was barely any coating, definitely not fresh. Gravy - gravy is gravy, thick but we like it that way All in all it seems like it's quantity over quality as portions are very big. Could have easily spilt the fish between the 2 of us, had we enjoyed and eaten it. Not worth the £20 or the wait, although we did appreciate the call to say that they were busy and to apologise for the longer than expected wait.
First ever order and will be our last. Ordered large battered cod, chips and peas x 2 and 2 potato fritters + a cold drink. The cold drink was wrapped in with the food so it was warm and the food was cooled by it significantly. The food looked as though it had bounced around the car and was falling out of the polystyrene containers, which were COVERED in grease. The fish tasted frozen, the batter was incredibly thick and horrible, the potato fritters ditto and tasted old, the chips were very greasy and the whole meal was inedible. Finally, the peas included in the order were not in the containers, nor were they included separately. This is the WORST fish and chips I have ever tasted and I lived in London for over a decade. Even my cats would not eat the fish. AVOID!!!!
