My wife and I went to Saffron, very modern decor with calm atmosphere. Extrememly warm and welcoming staff. Food was absolutly fantastic! Tawa lamb and mango chicken + aloo saag. They have King fisher on tap too which is always good.
Amazing food and service! Visiting from Canada and blown away by the authentic flavours. Generous portions, perfect spices, friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Butter chicken was so mild it doesn't deserve a curry label. It seemed to be a sauce poured over slices of chicken rather than proper chicken cooked in sauce. And the Peshwari Naan was like stodgy coconut cake rather than a bread of any kind. Certainly no almonds or sultanas in sight. Lovely place, super staff, but i was so disappointed in the food.
Delicious food! Would highly recommend to others. The sauce was thick and chicken was full of flavour. For main we had butter chicken and mismas tarkari (chicken&mince beef) Was also nice to see a Indian restaurant full of people!
Heard a lot of good things about this place so thought to try it out. First time visiting and will definitely be back. Service was fantastic from start to finish. Food was really good too, some of the best Indian food I’ve had in a long time.
4 of us went there last night we all had something different from the extensive menu each of us really enjoyed our curries. The waiting staff looked after us and were very friendly will definitely be going back sometime. It's a popular restaurant so booking is advisable.
Food was very tasty and menu had plenty of both new and familiar options. Service was friendly but we felt a bit rushed to order and then we received main course before starters. They offered to take away again but we went with the flow. They did spot it was a birthday celebration and brought a flaming desert which was a nice touch.
A fantastic local restaurant with fantastic food and service. The venue looks great, open spacious and very clean, also lovely and cool with their Aircon. Staff are really friendly and nice, super attentive and want to make sure you have the best dining experience. The food is delicious, full of favour, and a good range of dishes and house specialities.
Disappointed. I ordered a vegetable balti. I asked the restaurant not to put a lot of onions in the curry. It was full of onions! there were two whole onions, which isn’t needed for one meal ! I couldn’t finish it, waste of money!
Delicious Indian cuisine. Great flavours and good service. Nice friendly staff. A little expensive but worthwhile for special occasions. Can get busy so book in advance. On-street parking is limited.
