Spoke to Andrew regarding an on line purchase and he was very helpful, ordered the shoes and within 48 hours they were delivered. I am impressed with their attitude and service.
I rang to enquire about Loake 771B, whoever I spoke to was very friendly and attentive. I placed my order and within 48hrs , my stunning shoes had arrived. I will definitely be placing more orders with Shoe Gallery in the future. The only downside is that I don’t live anywhere close to the store as I would definitely be a frequent visitor. Shoe Gallery you have made a new friend.
Won’t go into this shop again. Went in yesterday to have a look at the range of shoes, and prices. I was ignored by a member of staff and, possibly, the owner. They gave the impression that I had interrupted their conversation. I selected a shoe, went further into the shop to ask a question, and the female staff member reluctantly came to me, no smile, no greeting, and reluctantly answered my question. Did I not look posh enough, or wealthy enough to afford their prices? Some years ago I bought a pair of shoes there which fell apart after a few weeks wear. I was told by the owner that it was my fault, I shouldn’t have walked along the riverbank in them. A little civility goes a long way. I never received such treatment when Lewes had proper shoe shops with affordable prices.
I recently telephoned Shoe Gallery for sizing advice for a pair of Joseph Cheaney Jaxson 11 boots as I couldn't find any near home in Newcastle. Great advice, beautiful boots and so comfortable from day one. Also a very good price with free next day delivery. Thank you.

Nice to return to the shop after many years. They still stock a large range of great quality shoes for everyday wear. Thankfully carefully chosen and sourced from good manufacturers. The staff are really knowledgeable, not a surprise to learn that the shop has been trading there for 37 years. Well worth a visit and supporting the shop.
I rang the store after having placed an online order I'd subsequently worried was in the wrong size as the brand can be hit and miss for me, and these absolute heroes got a staff member with the same size as me to try them on to check. Very happy with my shoes, top marks.

Best shoe store I've ever been to! Great selection of footwear and friendly staff. Really knew their stuff! So impressed with the service I received and I'm extremely happy with my new, well fitting shoes!
