After shopping here for years and spending 100s of pounds through out the year I picked up a pair of trainers which was wrong size my fault I know . But wen I bring them bk to change for correct size they staff refuse to replace dwn to a tiny black spec on sole the customer service I received that day was unacceptable the manager of store basically acted like a 12 Yr old smug smerky kid I now refuse to shop at any jd sports or online with them aswell

Feel morally obligated to share my brothers experience with racial profiling in the Worthing store. A security tag (which can only be removed by a magnetic) was on the floor. On his way to the till to purchase an entire tracksuit, he was accused of having taken the tag off the clothes and asked to leave. Whilst leaving the store another member asked him to empty his pockets. What they thought he had hidden in his cargo pockets other than his van keys is a mystery. It is 2023 and we are still accusing innocent people of theft based on their skin colour and being in the wrong place at the right time. It’s disgusting and I strongly recommend your staff have a serious chat and educate themselves on acceptable morals and ethics in the workplace towards customers they are supposed to be assisting

Excellent service from the lady with black hair, guy with ginger hair, and the gentleman with a black beard. Helped me find the products I needed.

Poor poor poor service!!! Only one person on the first floor, the lady was so busy that she could hardly get an order right. The guy manning the till was so rude, he had a 'bad arse attitude' he implied I was not telling him the truth about the shoes I was buying, I was left to feel like a thief!!! Outrageous. Not sure it is the image a massive company like JD's want to project. That guy would definitely benefit from a customer service training.

Only downside are the prices, but after all it's all worth it. Quality clothing, nice and sporty products. Went there once and spent about £170 for 4 items. Doesn't matter, because I think that it's well spent. Will definitely buy again from that place.

I had a great experience in Worthing JD Sports. I had to return a pair of trainers, so the guy downstairs dealt with that, whilst I looked upstairs at the Women's & Junior choices of trainers. Both members of staff were helpful & friendly. I was well impressed. Very pleased with the trainers as well !

Really awful experience as I drove all the way from Brighton for 40 mins in busy traffic to buy a jacket that was showing in stock online. Having said that I did try to call to check beforehand but the phone no that they advertise is not recognised. I tried to find the updated no but gave up and risked it. Staff then told me they didn't have the coat, offered no apologies/explanation for the phone situation, and a very indignant manager told me I couldn't use my discount card in store, only online (I knew this was incorrect, confirmed by the very nice lady in Millets, who are part of the same chain and tried to call them to reason with them but they were having none of it. (clearly worried about "giving money away" it seems, forgetting they would be making £100!!) Also all of them told me I couldn't use my gift card online either. So whichever way I ordered, I could only use one card. I couldn't really believe this was true. Anyway I went home (another 40 minute drive!!) and ordered it online, resigned to the fact that I could only use my Blue light Card discount. And guess what, of course you can use gift cards online too! Good to know these staff really know their stuff and the company they work for!!!!! Luckily for them I didn't want to disappoint my son, or I would not have ordered from them at all after this experience. Terrible customer service!!!
