   Uncomfortable atmosphere. Removed our flowers from ONLY OUR table and had a very sharp attitude. Likely due to our race. Don't go here if you're black. Too bad, because the pad Thai was nice enough.

   A friend and I shared the vegetarian set menu and added a papaya salad (it's my favourite). The food was so delicious, I'm not a vegetarian but my friend is and I didn't miss not having meat (a 1st). The flavour combinations and textures were top class, service was immaculate, highly recommend this restaurant.

   One star is for the administrator Shibat of the restaurant. For my desert I ordered ice-cream written as with pistachio and other nuts. I asked to add some nuts because there was almost none. Waitress gave me peanuts instead. Plus she was laughing with the administrator who told her that now she needs to charge me 1£ for those peanuts. Very rood and unpleasant discussion behind my back. Disappointed about such service.

   We ordered regularly from base Thai over lockdown and have eaten in regularly,yesterday evening we decided last minute to see if they had a table, the response from the staff was quite cold but they then offered us a table, the restaurant was empty at this stage, the food was rushed so we asked for some time between starters and mains, although they gave us sometime we were then approached and asked if we could hurry up as they had bookings and wanted our table as soon as possible, there were still very few people there, we felt unwelcome and as if they couldn’t wait for us to leave. It’s a shame but we made a decision there and then never to return again

   The location is in a nice peaceful area with car park spaces at the front. The staff were friendly and approachable. In regards to the food, the crackers were a bit stale and cold and as for the starters the satay chicken were slightly overcooked. The presentation however was embellishing. I really liked the main it was flavoursome and filling. Nothing too heavy just perfect. I would definetly recommend this place if you want a nice quiet night out.
