   Absolutely amazing experience at Lumpini Thai Restaurant in Dunstable. From the moment you walk in, you’re made to feel so welcome. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the food is genuinely some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully cooked. You can really tell how much care goes into every dish. We’ll definitely be back again soon — highly recommended.

   Im confused by all tge glowing reviews. We went as a party of 4. We ordered the set menu. Started are just deep fried and could be from anywhere. Pad thai was the worse I have ever had. Curries are very basic with little veg or flavour. It was more like a chinese takeaway then thai. If you want amazing thai food go to Bangkok lounge in Harpenden. This was so disappointing

   I love this place! Their food is incredible and I massively recommend their beef drunken noodles and their penang curry! The man who stands out though is their incredible waiter, Joey! What a legend!!! He made my visit memorable! His service skills and energy are unrivalled!

   We went to Lumpini'son a recommendation from a local, and they were right to recommend it. It's not posh, and perhaps looks a little tired, but we had a warm welcome, excellent service and fantastic food. Mixed starter was lovely, everything was crispy and tasty, and it was served with a selection of dipping sauces that included the best peanut sauce I've ever had. The duck red curry was warming and creamy with beautifully tender duck. The drunken noodles were tasty and filling, all the other dishes were great too. We finished with banana fritters and lychees which were both good and alongside a Bailey's coffee made the perfect end to our meal. Special mention to our waiter whose jokes made our night.

   Unfortunately this was not a good food experience. The service was pleasant enough but the food was more akin to over cooked Chinese. The peanut satay was very watery. Much of the food overly oily or smothered in too much sauce. And I came here as it was recommended to me by several people. It had just opened at 17.30 and the speed of the delivery of the food suggested a lack of attentiveness in the cooking. Vegetable fried rice didn't taste fresh on the day more like a rehash of food from the day before. I was looking forward to vegetable dumplings as invariably Thai tends to offer only meat or fish dumplings these were again gooey and lacking in distinctive taste. Sometimes a restaurant only needs one stand out item to bring people in, the vegetable dumpling could be it, but not here. Maybe I was unlucky but too much was too bland and uninspiring to want me to return.

   Mostly nice food, the green curry was delicious but the chicken inside was too tough (overcooked) sadly. Also the dessert wasn't fresh at all, I couldn't eat it all because the outside was hard and not smooth and creamy like a cheesecake should be. The staff were great.
