   After 8 years of nothing but great food from the Sun Sing, tonight's meal was a major disappointment. The crispy duck was tasteless and not crispy. Fried rice was bland, soggy and overcooked. The Sun Sing special in Oyster Sauce was just ok. Sun Sing, this was not good!

   This is not my normal Chinese takeaway but I've eaten food from this place the last 30 years is Cantonese is good, nothing wrong. Never had a bad meal.

   We called in today and ordered our food while we were there a chap came in who was obviously a regular there and when they asked how his wife was he said that she was in hospital they said they were sorry to hear that and gave him a bottle of beer and said they knew it wouldn't make up for her being there but it may help ease the situation. As a by the by the food was excellent and the service was exceptional thank you

   Ordered about £50 worth of food yesterday. Food wasn’t great, salt and pepper box was very flavourless, not sure if they forgot the seasoning? and everything else was very average and not special. Chips were not good at all. When I ordered the box I asked if I could have no ribs and wings as it was for my little sister who’s a bit young for bones and asked them to put a few more chicken pieces in. They said they couldn’t sub items which was a bit weird as I ordered in store at the counter and offered to pay more. I also asked to upgrade the curry sauce to a large but they said they could only give me another big one so ended up with 2 and paid £4 for it, (didn’t want 2) not sure why they couldn’t just have charged me a few pounds extra and made the meal how I wanted it. The kitchen is right out the back so really not sure why they weren’t accommodating. I’d also say it’s quite expensive compared to other- the salt and pepper box cost me £15 and was tiny and half full compared to ones I’ve had from oriental, goomet and fortune house. Probs won’t order here again there is better in the area.

   This is our favourite Chinese restaurant, it's ruined all others for us. The ribs are so fresh and fall off the bone, not chewy old meat. Really tasty fresh food. The special fried rice comes with giant king prawns in it and huge pieces of meat. We order regularly and have never been disappointed. We have the bbq ribs , salt and pepper ribs , curry sauce and special fried rice . We've had the duck and Singapore vermicelli too. All delicious and the people are so friendly

   We haven't been here for over a year because the food went from really nice to absolutely terrible. I don't know if they had a new "Chef" or what on earth happened but it was so bad, I even taught myself how to cook Chinese food at home from scratch and it ALWAYS goes down great for all the family. We've not had a great day today and time ran away from us. I was so hungry and needed to eat quickly so I could take my medication so I suggested picking up a simple chicken omelette and hips from Sun Sing Nantwich out of convenience because we live so near, surely they couldn't screw that up I said out loud to my partner who laughed! What I've just received is disgusting, no exaggeration whatsoever. There were 11 chips in total, that was it. The chicken was grey, full of ventricles and other gross coloured stringy bits. As sure as the grass is green I will NEVER order from here again, not as long as I have breath in my lungs will I even entertain the thought! Not if all the Chinese takeaways in Nantwich and surrounding areas were closed. This place has gone so far down hill it's closer to hell than anywhere else.
