This place used to be really good 5* but i had a takeaway last night for the first time in a long time and was very disappointed the meal was bland no spice . I don't know if they were having a bad day. Plus the food came cold it took over an hour to arrive. I will try again in a couple of weeks to see if they improve
Food was nice but no service. Had to ask for cutlery and napkins which arrived stained! We were put on a small table and the place was unsurprisingly empty! Never again!

They say they are open until 2300 but every time we call after 2240 no answer! It’s a shame, when we eat in the food is good, but unfortunately, the spice island are rubbish when it comes to takeaways! Unfortunately we will it be using them from now on.
Check your bill VERY carefully. They are currently (allegedly!) running a 2 for 1 on main courses. Four of us are there. 8 poppadoms and four main courses equalled £61. We were having a good time with friends we hadn't seen since the pandemic. It was only next day when we thought..."hang on a minute. £61?!!!" Too late by then. It was under different management when we last went there. It will be under different management when we go again. Shame, as it used to be so good.
Used to be outstanding but over the last few months we’ve been left waiting hours for food and whenever we phone it’s always “just around the corner”. We have been let down and lied to so many times that we will never order from here again. It is a shame as the food has always been good :( It should be called Spice Island Surprise - the surprise is what time you get your food :)
What a amazing selection of food!! After ordering our food was brought over to us personally. I like the personal touch.!! After arriving home the food was still hot and taisted spectacular. We cleaned our plates. The food price range was compatible to general prices. We loved it and will 100% order from there again!!
Ordered from here today after having good meals from here. This time wasn't good at all really. Onion bhajis were disgusting. Pickle tray was poor. Jalfrezi was greasy and stodgy. Nan was good though.
The taste of the food is very good except Biryani. The Biryani was not fully cooked. We have tried tandoori Chicken,palak paneer,naan, it was good. Time taken to server the food is too long.
