I've been in many Matalan stores in various locations over the years but I feel the Swansea store is a cut above the others. Spotless clean and tidy and staff very friendly and helpful. I shop here regular and always find what I want. The store is a credit to the people that run it
I only purchased a few towels and a bath mat, but the quality is very poor. The bath mat is already falling apart, which is disappointing and confusing. It seems you really have to be careful about what you buy.
It's an ok 3 stars. Compared to the online choice and the space available in store, there's not much choice for men, or girls over 7. Christmas jumper selection was poor this year
The store is large and open but the available sizes of good clothing is very hit or miss (usually miss). Size medium male and 32-34 trousers/shorts are usually few and far between!
Decent little Matalan tucked away on the outskirts of Swansea. A good choice of items all at prices you may expect. The one thing I marked it down on is the external appearance of the place. It all looks a bit tired and tatty in places. It could do with a freshen up. Otherwise, for a smallish Matalan, it's all good.

Very stocked which does daze you but well lit. Check outs need manning better to advise whether you queue or head to self check out.
Normally, a lovely experience but today some staff were not eager to help at all. Most were but there was one who was clearly not. Gossiping about other customers in a very disrespect way is not a good look for the store. A training is customer service is advised. Apart from that one everyone else was helpful. Thank you
Worst customer care . 5 staff people standing and chatting while me and my wife arrive with hand full of cloths and they are like please for self service join this queue. No one wants to help customers in this store.
