   Don’t bother ordering from here, I placed an order two weeks ago and it’s still yet to arrive! I’ve gone in store, the lady working in there was really helpful and put me through to the customer service team. Even after speaking with them and them saying that my parcel will be dispatched later that day, when it had already been a week since I placed the order! I’ve been on the customer service line 3 times now and promised my parcel in the next few days and still nothing has been delivered. Don’t bother, quicker to build it urself. Would rate u lower if I could. Terrible company

   A large branch of Robert Dyas. This branch is all on the ground floor, has good offers and helpful staff. I purchased Mixx Wireless Headphones when I was here. They are designed in West Sussex, local to Eastbourne. Interesting that Robert Dyas stock locally sourced products

   Awful. My husband bought a pair of headphones labelled 'high bass' for when he's on his loud running machine.... When he tried them, they were quieter than the ones he already has so, five minutes after purchase and with the receipt in hand, I took them back for an exchange not refund. I was totally shocked by the Manager's response.... "They've been opened so I can't exchange them" "But how are you meant to test them without opening them and discovering they're not as advertised?" "Sorry. Can't do anything. Company policy." Unbelievable and disappointed with Robert Dyas. Won't be shopping there again!

   Quite a decent shop actually! Made a purchase of a Scrub Mommy sponge and had a good chat to the kind lady at the till about the Scrub Daddy products. Pretty much made my visit. Will be returning to buy the Daddy™️ at some point, and might even buy the colourful 3 pack. I'll see where the future takes me

   Purchased 800 Ice White LED string Outdoor lights. Really bright but not too bright and look amazing around the bushes, in the trees and along the fence in my garden. Good value for money.

   Very helpful member of staff. Laura came out from behind the till to assist and went out of her way to help regarding our enquiry about a parasol and base even suggesting we could pick up the heavy base from the delivery bay behind the store. Brilliant customer service

   I wanted a folding outdoor chair based on the weight, it was for my wife and she wanted the lightest, easy to carry we could find. Robert Dyas advertised one on the website as 1.7kg. Bought click and collect and drove into the town centre, paid parking and parked up, walked in and picked it up. Went home, gave it to my wife who thought it was heavier than she expected, checked the label to discover it was 2.45kg on the label ? Tried to phone Customer Services but they had closed for the day, phoned the store who advised me I would have to bring it back to the store with the appropriate payment card to receive credit. So I wasted another hour doing just that. I had forgotten I had chosen the option of a call back with Customer Services. Monday they call me back, and when I explain the situation to them they advise they would have collected it from me free of charge if the problem was with the product or the description. I, of course, then advise they should communicate that to the store staff who told me I had to return it to the store. They have at least, changed the description on the website. Not impressed. Maybe it’s just the store staff in Eastbourne not conscientious enough – when I returned it I expected an apology but the guy who dealt with me treated me like an inconvenience. Not a mistake I will repeat. I will avoid Robert Dyas. I went down the street and bought one from helpful staff at Blacks which was lighter and 41% cheaper.
