The customer service (both pre and post sale) is just right. Knowledgeable, professional and no silly or pushy tactics. Can't recommend highly enough.

We have recently bought a washing machine and a vacuum cleaner from Carters in Tarring Rd Worthing. Rob, the manager, is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the prices are very competitive. Rob went out of his way to source the vacuum cleaner. Their customer service is good and being local is very accessible should I require it. I highly recommend them.
Carters are my go to place. Rob who works in worthing is knowledgeable and will give great advice on appliances. But the important part for me, is not over spending especially when it's for work orders, this is when the knowledge comes into its own, my biggest question is it worth spending more or not. Plus the customer care is excellent I've had one issue which was resolved with none of the normal palming off you get. Deliveries on time and all this from a local shop. Support your local shops
Shame I can't put less than one star. We purchased a very expensive Meile dishwasher from Carter's and they made a complete mess of the installation which then took 3 months to put right. They blamed Meile for sending the wrong fitting kit when it was their fitter that didn't even use the kit and threw it in the bin. Whe we complained by email to Mr Carter we were completely ignored. Shocking service, avoid at all cost. John Lewis next time ☹️
You guessed it, it's Christmas and my washing machine has decided to go to Beko heaven. Carter's are always my first choice, due to their excellent customer focus and service. Selected and paid for the replacement on the Saturday, with FREE delivery for the following Friday morn. As a bonus my old machine will be collected by the delivery team. Exemplary.

The sales person who served me was very helpful, explained things to me, didn't rush me to purchase anything, very happy with my purchase, and the delivery men were brilliant, hooked everything up, very quick and polite. Would definitely recommend Carter's.
Had a good informative chat with the sales person, booked delivery for next day. Phone call from the drivers to say they were stick in traffic, but still arrived in good time. Took out my old machine and put new 1 in. Brilliant service
