Just no. Really disappointed with the food; Lacking any depth of flavour. Speed of service was also worryingly fast. Impossible to cook that many dishes fresh with such lightening speed. Glasses were left empty and nobody asked if we would like another. The icing on the cake was a 12.5% service charge! Daylight robbery. Never again

We had a takeout from here last night. We have eaten here many times over the years. Normally with little complaints. Firstly it was expensive almost £50. We live less than than 4 miles away from the restaurant. My curry was dreadful. The nanbread was stone cold and obviously put in its bag cold. The rice was stone cold. The onion Bhaji was the smallest I’ve ever seen. It was the size of 2 little meatballs. Very tasty but very little of it. The poppadoms were over fried and not very tasty. Overall we were very disappointed with the meal. I don’t know if we were just unlucky or this is the normal here now. It’s fair to say that we will not be ordering a takeout from here again.

Food for the price really not worth it especially with the added service charge to eat in. Service the waiter pretty much dropped the plates on the table rudely. Clearing up over us at the end I felt he would drop it on me. Atmosphere is way too dark you need a torch to find your table. As for kids no high chairs available as apparently its a none kids environment which isn’t advertised anywhere. The owner gave my wife an unfriendly look as she was walking around the restaurant with the baby. When my wife asked for a high chair, they said it wasn’t available as it’s an adult only restaurant. We feel we should have been rejected entry as it was extremely hard to manage our baby without a high chair and the staff clearly didn’t want us there ( this is how we felt ) but they took the money anyway!

What a lovely restaurant and lovely atmosphere! The staff are friendly and polite, the food is delicious and the servers are attentive. I had the duck mains and it was beautiful, and my friend had a vegetarian main which was also lovely. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back. Pay no attention to the reviews as the service charge is listed and the food is priced as you would expect.

I’ve can honestly say I’ve never been treated so badly in a restaurant in my life. After pre booking for 4 adults and a baby we turned up to find that they do not cater for babies, no high chair or changing facilities. We had booked, if we had been told this we would have booked somewhere else. My husband and I have been to the restaurant many times and we just wanted to take our family for a meal. We were told to go to another restaurant down the road or make do with no high chair, no apologies or solution offered. We were taken to a table for 4 but asked if we could at least have a larger table to accommodate the 5th chair for the baby, even though the restaurant was almost empty we were told no to every suggestion we came up with. We ordered food and tried to make it work but it was incredibly hard so we decided to change our ordered meal to a takeout as every member of staff clearly didn’t want us there. They then had the audacity to charge us the price as if we had sat in to eat the food. The staff at every point were rude, unhelpful and I left in tears after a ruined night. We took the food home and it was disgusting, inedible. We threw it away, I would appreciate a response from the owner as to their disgraceful conduct and quality of food.

The food was very tasty, but rather overpriced - my lamb curry was £12 without rice. The music was too loud and I struggled to hear people sat on the same table as me - is club music necessary in a restaurant? Overall I’d say that I wouldn’t come back.

Nice restaurant, lovely people. Quiet night, so hard to judge real atmosphere, but the place is nice, so should be lively on a busy night. I would definitely go again

Tried booking a table for our family. When asked if the group involved children, it was made pretty clear that our custom wasn’t wanted. Not to worry, we’ll go elsewhere. Such a shame as this used to be a really nice place.

Short noticed meal after golf and first impressions are service from the team was fantastic very friendly and helpful. Food was very good a pleasure to eat done items where on the pricey side but over all the food was very flavourful and potions ok Why three stars I absolutely hate being given a bill with a service charge already in it I believe it’s my choice not theirs. I would never eat their again on this point alone. Party of four.

Initial view is that the premises are very nice, invested upon and hope that this carries through the whole experience. Unfortunately not though.... From the onset, service was poor and it appeared the Staff weren't simply confident nor competent in what they were doing. We booked for 7pm, originally via the app on their website (we received an immediate auto-reply, but no confirmation of our booking). I even phoned ahead at 6:15pm to confirm if the table was available and received a very confusing reply, saying that I can't book online, on the day, but its "okay, they'll fit us in", even though I had actually booked 4 days prior. I then confirmed (again) my booking, and they said "all will be ok". However... on arrival, surprise surprise, they weren't expecting us and left us in the bar, along wth another group booking for in excess of 30+ mins, while pushing to take our order from the bar. I wouldn't mind, but it wasn't even that busy in the restaurant area. Eventually, we were shown to our table, which fortunately was set out nicely and was very comfortable. The starters arrived and the food was very nice, yet the service (again) was a state of confusion i.e. no offers of drinks, despite the staff clearly noticing empty glasses. Pictures show our food choices as they did indeed taste as good as they looked. Mains were ok and desert tasted nice, but the latter was already half melted by time it appeared (possibly down to the confused service). Again, service was disappointing at the end, even asking for the bill. We were left for 20+ mins waiting for someone to appear with a card machine, so we have up and walked to the bar to pay and leave. We'll return if they service can improve drastically as the food was generally good.
