   I've always chosen Nero, due to the coffee and staff. My wife only drinks plain hot water and they have always happily given me a hot water for her with my bought coffee. But today manager refused. Saying some people use it for their own tea. No option to pay a fee for hot water as some places do. He didn't say this as I odered,he said it after taking my order and paying for it (a flat white and a hot water) if he'd said no hot water as I ordered, I'd have left. If this is now across all Nero, then I'll go independent...

   Lovely chocolate fudge cake and pot of earl grey. No issues working here either. The staff seems happy and one in particular brought joy with her singing.

   I have been here before and it was better. I waited a good 10 minutes whilst the trainees barista chattered with the assistant who was completely ignoring the queue and clearing up, packing away behind the counter. The person in front of me had the patience of a saint. The trainee had scruffy polished nails and stopped so many times to respond to the assistant emptying bins and tidying up that in the end I turned around and went to a very nice cafe bar opposite. I had 2 lovely staff serve me with a very nice organic tea.

   Nice little coffee shop in Lewes. They open early which is nice. Other shops open later. So I suppose this is where one could say ‘the early bird gets the worm’. All drinks were made perfectly, and the service was friendly.

   vastly unpleasant experience, was met by a miserable barista who insulted my company, made a drink which was frankly undrinkable, food which was “warmed” came completely cold and shouted at me when i asked him to repeat a question

   Friendly staff, good coffee and fresh food. Good to see such clean tables and environment. Great staff suggestion to toast their Mini Classic Panettone. The Pork & Pancetta sausage roll with a rainbow slaw salad is really tasty. Likewise their vegan butternut, courgette and sweet potato roll is really good. Very dog friendly!

   They Forget to add coffee to my cappuccino, was served just hot oat milk. Despite the mistake, the staff were still accommodating in the rush.
