A lovely little tea room in Glynde but with a large garden so you can have your tea etc out in the garden. Our afternoon tea was delicious and there was plenty to eat. We had choices of different teas which catered for everyone. A must place to visit and the staff were friendly and nice.

Great hidden gem. Fantastic home baked cakes and scones, flavoursome finger sandwiches and kashings of the tea of your choice. What a cracking way to spend an afternoon.

Great place to experience the classical big English tea time with scones, sandwiches and cake. Beautiful garden with plenty of tables. Book 2-3 days in advance! It's a bit hidden but easy to find when you know where you have to look.

Quirky little tea shop in a post office full of charm and character. A returning customer as just love it here. Booking advised as can get busy. Garden is country rambling with fresh cut flowers in small jars on your table and hand stitched table cloths. Different areas around the garden depending on the mood you want - under a sailing sheet gazebo, small tables, iron tables, for two / four or more persons. Tea sets are vintage-esque with a selection of china / silver style tea pots. Scones come on tiered cake plates; 4 ‘no crust’ sandwich fingers per person + a huge slice of cake (have had a dry slice on one visit hence 4 not 5 on the score). Many varieties of tea + hot chocolate \ coffee available and alcohol to accompany your cream tea if you want. Savouries also available but not tried yet. Toilet available and found by meandering through the kitchen garden - rustic charm! A charming place to relax away the afternoon and leave feeling very full. One item to note - 10% service charge automatically added to your bill.

Delighted with this Tea Room. It's our third visit and we have found the service and the quality of food to be exemplary. All of our visits have been on warm days and the lovely willow tree affords cool shade. The owners seem really bothered about the visit and make you very welcome. The staff are always checking to make sure you are being attended to throughout the visit. We had afternoon tea with clotted cream and jam. Delicious. Previous visits we have enjoyed the platter for two. Judging by the number of people and popularity, we shall phone ahead in future to make sure there is sufficient room for us. The handy shop adjoining the team room is great for cash withdrawals and essentials, including Flint Owl Bakery bread and local diary milk.

An absolutely delightful tearoom. A quintessential vintage English afternoon tea experience. Very quaint venue, I bet it's stunning in the garden in the spring/summer Excellent table service and communication via Messenger prior to booking. Very tasty vegan sandwich and cake options (apple and toffee and chocolate cake today). Great range of teas to choose from all at a really good price. I would definitely highly recommend and will be popping back in the better weather. Thank you.

What a lovely place. My sisters and I took my Mum for her birthday and had the most wonderful afternoon. We went in November, so we couldn’t sit outside, but the tea room is very comforting and it feels like a step back in time. The staff are attentive and so friendly. Most importantly catered for my gluten allergy. We had an excellent afternoon tea of sandwiches and handmade cakes. There is a selection of tea and hot drinks served on beautiful crockery and to make it even more special the option of delicious sparking wine. Highly recommend to anyone in the lewes area. Already planning a trip back for my sister’s birthday in the summer so we can sit in the beautiful garden.
