   It’s ok for a drink and a cake while at the beach but be warned you will have to stand in a queue for ages to be served.

   Joined the queue on a Sunday last summer when on the beach with my 8 year old grandson. Slow and painful process getting to the front as there was only one person serving and he was not particually dynamic. When we finally got to the hatch he suddenly and without a word of explanation put up a 'back in 10 minutes' sign and walked out the back door not even looking at us or the people on the queue behind me. He then walked over to the sailing club and entered a side door. I looked at the people behind me and one of the women walked over to the sailing club and asked if we could be served as the serving staff had walked away. She was told no, as it was members only on a Sunday and we had to wait until he returned. 10 or so minutes later he casually sauntered over carrying some paper cups and milk. Not an apology, not an explination offered. So, I will never use this coffee hut again. The caravan coffee shop at Buckle is much better and much more customer focused....plus you do not have to be a member.
