   Coffee served way too hot at a time when the café was quiet. Luckily we some excellent cafes in Lewes (every other place I've visited gets this right, so what gives?)

   They are open till 5pm but shut half of the cafe at 2.30pm. the staff can't wait to go home even at 2.30pm! Flies everywhere! This is the worst Costa that I have ever been in!

   This is the second time I tried the coffee in Tesco Lewes Costa cafe and I was hoping my first experience there of poor coffee was a one off. The latte tasted just like hot milk, no coffee taste. I've had lattes in other Costas which have tasted fine but I just don't enjoy the coffees in this cafe

   Finn and Brett are stars...so professional, friendly and efficient...Costa are very lucky to employ them. Coupled with excellent coffee,what's not to like? Thoroughly recommend.

   Extremely rude staff, no customer service skills whatsoever. We was made to feel like it was an effort to take our order. I asked for the toblerone hot chocolate and was told it was no longer available which I understand it's a promotion offer but when I asked what other flavours there were the girl made out like it was a issue having to tell me them. I then asked for my hot chocolate to be made with skinny milk before I paid. I watched the other girl poor mine and someone else's from the same milk pot who hadn't asked for skinny milk as she had looked at the screen to start making the drinks whilst I was still ordering so there for I know it was made with semi -skimmed milk. I have a intolerance to milk and can only have skimmed every so often. The tables were also extremely dirty with lots of ring marks and spills from other customers where the cups had been taken but no wiping of them had been done. Staff need training in basic customer service. Definitely won't be coming back

   I prefer the location of this Costa with a nice view of the river, free parking at the tesco and easy access to town or scenic walks.. but I much prefer the staff at the other Costa in the town. The staff here are OK.. but often get your order wrong, take a long time faffing around and generally look like they would rather be elsewhere.

   I visited Tesco Costa, the girl serving was a surley cow, she looked out the window each time she spoke to me and was bloody rude. A younger girl served my coffee was very sweet but what a disgusting coffee she made, definitely not Barista trained. I took it to go and had to throw it away. It looked and tasted like dirt and was horrible and bitter. Never again. Oh and sort your dirty toilets out Tesco!
