I just left sports direct now and very upset with the rude girl attend me when I pay for my shoes. I told her politely if they accept blue lite card , straight away and rude she answered NO! I asked politely why , she rudely answered… MORE THAN 1 YEAR WE DONT USE THIS CARD !!! I said … ok no problem and do accept student card? A big NO comes from her mouth, without any more answers! No eye contact and very rude this blond girl shouldn’t treat clients like rubbish . Very disappointed. I never go in there anymore!!

The cashier was very rude to me. When he saw mw coming towards the till he just turned the other way and did some other work. Got around 5 minutes to serve me and he didn’t speak nicely.

As a 51 year old mother of a teenage boy, the majority of my experience in these stores is trying to track down, or occasionally chasing down members of staff to ask for a shoe in a particular size. Jordan, in this store, was a pleasant change from the norm. Proactive, knowledgeable, helpful and engaged he was very impressive. I was on a lone trip to track down white trainers, he approached to ask if he could help. He knew exactly which styles of trainers had white options and helpfully checked to see which were in the right size. He was also able to comment on the popularity of particular trainers for customers in my son's age group and he was absolutely spot on. My son was delighted and so am I. Thank you Jordan!

I have encountered an issue with a pair of Skechers Slip-In shoes. Despite proper care and minimal usage, I realised that one of the shoes had become deformed at the back in three months. Normally, it should not have been deformed from there because it is a slip-in shoe, or they should have been both deformed if it was because of a consumer mistake. However, I got no support from the store or customer service. I feel frustrated because I thought it would be a good experience to shop from SportsDirect. If I knew, I would get them from a Skechers store directly.

We have used various Sports Direct stores and online for years but we have found it has become very expensive, the general quality has become very poor and on this occasion, in this store, we used the lift due to being with our two disabled children and on our way back down the lift broke, we received no apology and the person that finally got the lift back down could barely muster a grunt as we left. Very poor.
