I went here to have a nice lunch after a walk and this place was amazing. I ordered the signature burger and personally it was the best burger I have had in my time in Europe. The service is quick and it is a lively place with amazing decoration. It is a bit pricey but totally worth it due to the high quality of the food. They also have whole menus dedicated to gluten free. 100% recommend coming to try.

We visited a couple of weeks ago on our way back from Eastbourne and had a lovely time! Beautiful and welcoming place, with fairy lights outside that makes you want to go in. Nice and relaxing atmosphere and both waiters were great. Food was delish and affordable and it came out quickly. We will definitely be coming back!

Such a lovely pub in a beautiful setting. The menu is so varied and all the dishes I’ve tried here have been so tasty and well-cooked. We were served by Sarah and she was so polite and friendly - she went above and beyond to help when I was having technical difficulties with a voucher. Would 100% visit again, it’s the perfect place to stop after a walk around Seaford Head, Seven Sisters and Cuckmere Haven.

This is a very popular pub, so parking on a Sunday can be busy but the location and food makes it worthwhile even for the busy atmosphere. We were served by the lovely Shannon and the Sunday Roast is absolutely delicious plus a great choice of desserts. Service was great even we had a full house on a Sunday lunchtime. Worth the food and location!

After a 2-hour-long hike along the coast from Seaford to Cuckmere Haven, we drove to the Cuckmere Inn for lunch. My two lads had the Signature burger and I had the home-made pie of the day. Everything was perfect, from the delicious food, the lovely waitress Mia to the cosy atmosphere with the fireplace (it was raining outside during lunchtime). We had a very pleasant moment. I highly recommend. Some people may expect the portions to be a little more generous, but it was fine with me.

Perfect stop for a brunch before continuing your journey along the Coastal Path from Brighton to Eastbourne. The place is very welcoming for ramblers and hikers a like. There’s a sign just right outside, “muddy boots and paws, welcome”. Their hospitality is amazing and the place was cozy and calming. The fire place was on when we came in. They serve the perfect English breakfast and the meal was nicely prepared and fresh. Would definitely stop by for a meal again!

Amazing location, warm welcoming staff and great food to recharge batteries in a relaxing atmosphere. And no, this is not your place if you rush as relax is part of the experience! The view is simply unique. Been there with my family and our little dog, and after our lunch we enjoyed a great walk on the beach. Strongly recommended

A great restaurant near the Seven Sisters. Very cozy and a lovely menu with good vegetarian options. We got their house wine, peppermint tea, Camembert cheese board (I highly recommend - this was so good and makes for a perfect sharing platter) and Penang curry.

It was awesome, I had visited it couple of times before the covid thing. This time in April 2020 it has even better than I remembered. You can get a free cake and coffee there...I did by signing up for another spam email and it worth it. Despite I have shared it with my peers, not the cake but the info about this freebies not all of them could get it. Surprisingly there was a long delay in food serving after 1:30pm and not all of my peers were left fed as we departed at 2pm. However hungry and complaining peers could not spoil the excitement of me having free cake at 1pm. The pub was bright with a lot of young staff who created the atmosphere of business where I was there on my own sharing three tables with myself and line of people who asked how to get a free cake and coffee. Try duck liver pate, that was good and worked well with the carrot and coriander soup. However nothing could compare to the free Eaton mess and a lot of mess was left when I gone...though, I was kind and left appreciation of the hard work of the waitresses and waiters. The skill of keeping yourself busy when none is around must me complemented and tipped!
