A fantastic local pub that always makes me and my family feel welcome. The staff are wonderfully friendly and the service is brilliant. They have a great selection of local beers, which are always top quality. A real gem – highly recommended!
Extremely good music playing on 21/08/25… Every single song for at least the last 5 songs has been a belter. David Bowie - Starman played. This doesn’t take away from the fact that I think pubs should play only instrumental lute music, but if you’re gonna play songs in a pub, ask this pub who governs their playlist Artic monkeys - I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor just came on…. I’m gonna wait until this song ends then I’ll tell you the next one Here it comes… Bloody ‘ell. It’s ‘Fill Me Up Butter Cup’ by The Foundations. Proper feel good music. Right, next one! It’s ‘Piano Man’ by Billy Joel. Bloody brilliant.

not good screaming fat greasy kid upstairs, massively downgraded my experience. Pub food resurfaced my IBS, not great i must say. This picture sums it as a whole. Also the staff told me i was fat for ordering a second roast after the first came out like shown below.
