   Come on guys, you are our go to chippy for delivery in Bedford, tonight your website was down so we couldn’t order online, Just Eat said they don’t deliver here from you, and when we came and brought in the shop you sent my wife home with two bags of deep fried oven chips……..were they even McCains? First time we have introduced you to our family for supper and you have left us wondering why on earth did we bother!

   Really bad. Chips weren’t proper chip shop chips - more like something out of a frozen bag! Fish was OK. Shame as this place was really good when last used. Clearly gone downhill. Store in complete darkness.

   It's a takeaway so atmosphere not really a thing. Great food, always freshly made. Standard fish and chips are great but they also do kebabs and burgers (the trio burger is fav of mine).

   Not even deserved a 1 star but had to, to leave review. Ordered food & was told an hour. Food never arrived & no1 phoned me to tell me why. Have been ringing back for over another hour & no-one answers phone. Can't complain as no-one picks up phone. Save your money & use another place. Should change their name to "no food plaice"

   Best fish and chips! Always delivered hot, fluffy yet crispy chips, beautifully fried cod (no skin), reasonable prices, large portions. Definitely recommend! No other Bedford chippy comes close to Tasty Plaice!

   I've been using this chippy for a while now and decided to write a review. I must say the food is amazing, fresh and well presented. The food is always delivered on time and piping hot. Since I've been going the staff have always been friendly and polite. I thank them for being open during the pandemic, Fridays wouldn't be the same without a chippy night!
