    Easy to book car in, polite staff who communicated well in person and by phone. Reasonably priced. Most work and MOT completed. Unfortunately two tyres they thought were in stock weren’t, which means I will have to return car when tyres arrive. They did apologise. The online Halfords communication system was very poor. When I tried to confirm they could go ahead with the work they had suggested the system seemed to time out and not work. So I then had to ring up which is not easy either as it’s through a central switch board. Once through I found out my confirmation had gone through. This is a new system apparently.

    Can’t fault the ease in which the air conditioning diagnostic test was booked (online) then carried out and fixed the issue! Fantastic service. Tried 4 other garages who couldn’t fit us in, even with a weeks notice! Brilliant communication, and great service.

    Never used a Halfords Autocentre before but their price was competitive especially with the discount my membership provides. Booked for a puncture repair on family members tyre. Staff were very friendly upon arrival and took the tyre straight away and was fixed within the hour. I was kept informed throughout and was very impressed with the service. I will be using them again and next up is my free MOT in November so hopefully the service is as good then. Thanks

    If I could give zero stars I would. Booked my car in for a full service and MOT on Monday morning. As I pulled up at 8.20am they tried to contact me. When I went in I was told the diesel emissions testing machine had broken on Friday so they couldn’t do my MOT! The person sitting at the desk said I was just about to call you but noticed you pulling up. 9 mins before my appointment is supposedly enough time to give someone notice. The staff were so unhelpful when I asked if another local centre could fit me in and didn’t check. The manager I presume just was rude and their whole attitude was poor. I will never use Halfords Service Centres ever again as this is the 2nd time they’ve let me down. I ranted as I left as my MOT ran out the next day. Luckily I found a great place in Hove who did my MOT that morning.

    Needed an MOT so booked my car in for a service too. The staff were really helpful. There was a part that was meant to be next day delivery. They managed to source the part and fit it before they closed. The staff kept me up to date with progression during the day and I felt that they went above and beyond.
