The food was good, however we were disappointed to find that we had been overcharged. We did leave a tip, but on the way home we all noticed that each of us had been charged an extra Β£5. We would appreciate this being refunded to our cards. There were three of us dining last night, booked for 6:30. Β£35 for a pizza and a 3 prawn starter is a bit steep! Also please clean the doors, they are disgusting ,downstairs staff door and the toilet doors are minging.

We popped into Bella Napoli hoping for a nice Italian meal, but left underwhelmed. The staff were curt and seemed uninterested, service was slow, and the food was sadly mediocre: my pasta was overcooked and bland, while the pizza was soggy and lacking flavour. At these prices, it felt poor value.

Ribeye steak was unexpected thin, the steak cooked wasnβt I expected neither. To be fair, the steak was nice, just didnβt know if it were to be 8 oz as described on the menu. In my mind, it is like an ordinary restaurant. Fair price, fair food, staff is kind and nice, itβs better than nothing.

Went here for a relativeβs 40th birthday. Lovely space on the first floor for big parties. The pizzas and pasta are delicious here and very well priced! Authentic Italian food. Service is superb, we had someone who wasnβt happy with their order, didnβt realise it would be so plain and the staff immediately bought out a difference pizza on the house - never seen service like it! Very good restaurant and plenty of tasty sounding dishes on the menu! Highly recommend, nice little Italian in the middle of Shrewsbury! I had the garlic chilli spaghetti which was delicious with a nice strong kick!

Feels very homey inside, small resto but can accommodate a good seating. I feel like it's run by a family. Food is all authentic italian and my kids enjoyed it a lot. It was packed during dinner and our food came a bit late, there was abit of wait but guess it's okay since food was really good. Drinks I feel were expensive and just bottled beers.

Absolutely ridiculously outrageously poor service. I was here a month ago, with my wife and we were appalled at the standard of food that came out of the kitchen. I was a chef for 14 years and I could make something 100 times better with my eyes closed. There was more water in the food than in the sink. The manager rude and disrespectful to our table. We expected some sort of gratitude to being served water on a plate.

Firstly, Iβd like to say that Iβm not one to leave negative reviews, however I was so l was disappointed this evening that I feel I need to let others know of our experience. My husband, Dad and I went for a post Christmas meal after a really good meal at Bella Napoli a few Christmasβ ago. The starter was okay, my husband had prawns which he said were nice. My Dad and I had the mushrooms which were okay, but could have been cooked a little bit more. The main course was a massive disappointment. My dad had penne arrabiata which was watery, I had penne salmon which was literally pasta, a bland cream sauce and the tiniest bit of salmon. My husband had the calzone which initially was nice, although flat, until he reached the raw egg in the middle. The waitress was nice enough however, she was clearing plates whilst we were still eating, then sat with someone who I assume was the cook having a chat, ignoring her guests. My dad and I decided to not have a desert, given the disappointment up to that point. My husband had a lemon cheesecake which was okay, however I had ordered another glass of wine which never arrived. Overall, I could cook a better meal at home. So to go out for a nice dinner and leave Β£100 down and still hungry (weβre currently cooking chips!) is very upsetting. I absolutely support local businesses, however please donβt waste your money here.

Cheesy garlic bread was on super fresh dough, definitely home made, bruschetta was really fresh and we suspected the bread was home made too. Lasange so fresh and light, beautiful layers of pasta, the tomato sauce was perfect. Clean plate club. The Penne Gorgonzola E Noci was Creamy, nutty aftertaste, very light and still fillings with a deep flavour with the tang of gorgon zola, pasta cooked perfect Al dents For Wine, we chose a bottle of the Chianti. Which was soft, fruity and beautifully complimented the savoury meals especially the lasagne. For dessert I had a single scoop of the Gelato, Salted caramel, which was decedant and rich with enough salt to balance it perfectly. My husband's Cheesake was light but rich with crisp base that had delicious nutty aftertaste and the lemon wasn't overpowering at all. Staff were kind and attentive, we were never left between courses or waiting for attention. They even realised it was his birthday, due to a loud video call where his mother bleted happy birthday at the top of her lungs, and put a sparkler in his dessert! A must visit for authentic Italian food in Shrewsbury!

Wanted to support an independent restaurant business whilst working and stopping in Shrewsbury Town Centre. Called in a few places and was told they had stopped serving food at 6pm!!! So how can i support? So happened to call by chance at Bella Napoli opposite M&S (on Castle Street) What a lovely friendly welcome, lovely waitress, owner who took the time to engage and very delicious food. Would absolutely recommend
